Great stay at this place with my family, two adults and two kids (11,12) three nights at the end of August. The Family Room with the two bunk beds was GREAT for the price. Included breakfast was really good and got my family off to a great start for the day! Front desk staff was very kind, spoke great English, and super helpful. Bonus perk was an ice machine and water available near the lobby. Extremely walkable to many key sights nearby! On a great pedestrian street with many food and grocery options available. Glad we stayed here!

Excellent value for money. The hotel is quite clean and spacious, with very tasty breakfasts and a wide variety of options. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the room was cleaned every day. The location is absolutely amazing — you can walk to almost all major Madrid attractions. People at the reception were very friendly and helpful. My room faced the inner courtyard, so it was very quiet, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that the room was quite warm, as the heating worked very strongly. Also, as mentioned in many reviews, the elevator is indeed quite slow, but this was not a problem at all.Overall, a great stay and a fantastic choice for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at Petit Palace Arenal. The location is 10/10… perfect for exploring Madrid on foot, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. The room was a little small, but it was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the hotel accommodated our room request upon arrival, which we really appreciated. A special thank you to Souraya (I hope I have her name right), who was working the night shift. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful throughout our stay. She welcomed us when we arrived and went above and beyond on the day we left. The taxi I had booked never showed up, and she immediately contacted the driver for me. When that didn’t work out, she quickly arranged another taxi, and thanks to her, we arrived at the airport on time. Her outstanding customer service made a lasting impression on us. Thank you, Souraya, for making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

My parents and I had a wonderful stay here at Petit Palace Arenal! The bathroom in our room was bright and spacious, and our room was able to sleep 4 people, something not always common in Spain - this could be great for families! The location is amazing, steps away from La Puerta del Sol and metro station stops. The hotel is within walking distance of many different attractions, like El Prado and La Reina Sofia art museums, as well as the royal palace. All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly to us throughout our whole stay. Roxana (sp?) was so helpful to us at our breakfast at the hotel. A special shoutout to Ares as well who arranged a taxi to the airport for us on our way back home. I would stay here again! The location and kind staff can’t be beat! They made our last stop in Spain a great one.

Location was pretty central. Close to Sol metro stn. Busy festive street vibe. Could be noisy if room faces the street. Room was ok. Clean and decent. But nothing to shout about. Start here was friendly and courteous. Included breakfast was fine but became repetitious.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay in the Heart of Madrid! We had an amazing experience at Petit Palace Arena Hotel Madrid! Traveling as a family of four, we truly appreciated how comfortable, welcoming, and well-located the hotel is—right in the center of everything. A special thank you to Ruben at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment we arrived. Every morning, breakfast was a highlight thanks to Mihaela and Gabriela. Their positive attitude, warm smiles, and genuine care for guests made each day start on a perfect note. The service during breakfast was exceptional—they were attentive, kind, and always ready to help. The combination of excellent service, great location, and family-friendly atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid and would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. Starting with basics . Location is top notch. A stones throw from Sol. More about it in the end. 24/7 access to the hotel through room key and also manned around the clock. Service impeccable . Both from the kitchen staff and the reception. The young lady working 31/12-2025 was a marvel of service. Hats off to her. Breakfast quite varied for a short stay. Room great. We had a quiet room where we could open the widows at night. Clean good beds and a nice bathroom. Pro tip for New Year’s Eve. The hotel is located 10 meters outside the cordoned off area. When the line starts to Sol in the evening you can ignore it because say at 2100 the police move the whole line into the street of the hotel and close everything down. You can sit in the lobby and wait for the police to open the gates and then just go out. Saving about 2-4 hours of wait in the line. The hotel is to the left of the picture. Why did we queue then? We did not know about this trick until we realized the queue was centered outside our hotel. Also police is quite stressed and work minded I.e. not the most pleasant at thet moment. Do as they say. No selfie sticks no glass bottles. They check the bags.

This hotel is located very centrally to places tourists like to visit. We were able to walk to all of the attractions we chose. The standard of cleanliness was very high. All staff we came into contact with were polite and very helpful. English was spoken by most of the staff. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Unfortunately, one of us became very ill and we needed to call an English speaking doctor at 3.00 AM. The hotel helped us with this and it was free for the first visit - the hotel has an arrangement with a clinic. The medical care was outstanding.
