We had a great stay despite everything. Booked a non-smoking room, but got a smoking room because housekeeping was still cleaning and frontdesk wasn't sure how long it would take. We were tired from travel so we decided to take it. Thankfully the room was clean and did not smell of cigarettes. But: sheets smelled musty, toilet was high tech (japan style) but smelly, and faucet water also had a disgusting taste -- definitely use the water provided for brushing your teeth. Toiletries were very fancy and of good quality. Had a little chat with frontdesk during check-in. They surprised us with a cake via room service when they found out that we were celebrating a birthday. Staff were very attentive and hospitable. Breakfast buffet was mid, not much variety during our stay, but the pastries are good. Gym is open 24/7, equipment are all very nice, they provide water, towels, and have sanitizers. Weekend crowd (due to the hotel being some sort of local attraction) can be a bit too much. There were events going on as well during our stay, and there was almost no elbow room when walking around the pavillion/shops. Location is great! Very, very close to Mall of Asia, Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

I always hear good things about Okada aside from being luxuriously expensive. So when I checked if they had a jacuzzi as my friends and I wanted our bonding to be private, I hurriedly booked it. It's our first time and, as a well-planning person whenever I travel, I always make sure that I call the accommodation and set my preferences in advance. I even called twice to ensure that I would get the best, not guaranteed but promised. The staff I spoke to even told me about the bay view and fountain view and let me know what their differences were. I have no idea about it, but the moment I heard the view descriptions and experience, I told her to please put a note that I prefer Fountain view. Then our arrival comes, we even arrive past 3pm the check-in time. And guess what, we don't have a room or, should I say, we have to wait to be available! We waited for a long time and tried to check and convince us that they didn't have a room for us in any sight. And they have to inspect the room before it was given to us, etc. Then I asked the supervisor about our room and gave us a smoking room with a bay view. I know we don't have to settle for this, but we were too tired and not to waste our time. We just enjoy our stay, that's all we can do. But I don't know in the future if I will recommend or include Okada as one of the hotel choices.

The first time we stayed here was in 2023, celebrating a wedding anniversary. This last stay in 2026, we celebrated our vow renewal, so essentially, it was our honeymoon. Okada, both times made us feel special with the cake, card, balloons and stuffed bear amenities. Bravo 👏 👏 👏 Service from check-in to check-out was far above expectations. Everyone was friendly, informative, helpful and genuine. The breakfast buffet was very good and there were lots of variety. The pool bar was also very tasty and very generous with its portions. CONS: Even though this place has only been operating for 10 years, cracks and maintenance need to be addressed. It's as if upkeep is not keeping up with the standard. 2023, portions of this place is under maintenance and unoccupied. 2026, those same places are still unavailable to the public. The rooms are great, but why does only the Pearl Wing get Jacuzzis and not the Coral Wing if there is no significant price difference? The entertainment needs an upgrade. Netflix? Prime? Not having these options seems pretty outdated. The pool and gyms definitely needs a renovation. They could take some points from Sofitel or Grand Hyatt BGC. The towels given, seem to be lower quality. At least nothing like what one would expect from a 5 star luxury hotel. Both gym locations were small, but adequate. It would be great if they provided bottled water instead of paper cups. The COVE. Both visits it was unavailable for us. This is very disappointing and I'm sure guests would LOVE to swim indoors when the Philippines is raining. Guests wouldn't even mind if they having to pay extra. I'm pretty sure there's a demand for this, so why then is it only rented out as a venue spot? The casino bar has a lot of potential, but the open area makes it looks less exclusive and common. I definitely recommend this place and would most likely return. Thanks Okada for making our stay memorable!

Great stay! The kids really enjoyed themselves, and we had a comfortable and pleasant experience. Highly recommended for families.

We were extremely disappointed with the service at Okada Manila. We called housekeeping five times requesting that our room be cleaned and specifically asked for it to be done in the morning. However, when we returned in the afternoon, the room still had not been cleaned. Despite calling five times, the issue remained unresolved, leaving us with no choice but to go downstairs and speak to a manager in person. The manager then arranged a meeting with the cleaning manager, which should never have been necessary for such a basic service. The only compensation offered was a ₱4,000 lunch voucher. While we appreciate the gesture, it did not adequately address the frustration, inconvenience, and time wasted chasing up a simple room-cleaning request. For a hotel of Okada Manila's reputation and price point, we expected a much higher standard of service, communication, and accountability. Having to repeatedly chase housekeeping and escalate the matter ourselves was unacceptable and fell well below our expectations. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with a negative impression of the hotel. A luxury hotel should not only offer impressive facilities but also deliver reliable service and take proper responsibility when things go wrong. We expected much better from Okada Manila.

Our stay at Okada Manila was overall very pleasant. The room was spacious, and the bed was clean and comfortable. We were given a room at the far end with a view of the light and fountain show, which we enjoyed both from our window and at the grounds. It was a bit windy at night, so we got slightly wet while watching outside. Before arrival, we informed the hotel about our son’s birthday month and requested a complimentary cake. We were initially told it was not possible due to policy, but upon check-in we were pleasantly surprised with a small cake, birthday bunting, a teddy bear, and balloons. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. We were also informed that food deliveries are not allowed before check-in, but this was not an issue as there are many nearby options such as convenience stores, fast food, and restaurants. The pool was enjoyable with warm water, and the pool bar had decent food choices. The only downside was an issue with the bathroom fixtures. The bidet was inconsistent, and the toilet overflowed once, spilling onto the floor. Housekeeping responded quickly and cleaned it within 10 minutes. Price-wise, it is on the expensive side but worth considering for special occasions. Overall, it was a good stay with great service recovery and enjoyable facilities, with only minor bathroom issues.

I loved our room. It was a 1 bedroom with a living room and a spacious dining room. Invited my friends - we were a group of 15 pax -- and had so much fun. Buffet breakfast was good. The reason for the 3 star rating only is how I felt a bit unsafe when walking at the ground floor. I did not feel secure. I felt like there were probably some people who were allowed inside with guns. There were also sketchy looking people who looked like they were intoxicated or high. The pool was also too full. I was not able to enjoy that. Do they accept swimming only guests? It seemed like it. They were also not so strict about wearing the proper swimsuit attire.

We celebrated my birthday here and we truly had a wonderful and memorable stay! The hotel has a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-maintained.|We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee as well as the pool and gym. We don’t have to ask then to take photos because they always ask us if we what them to take photos of us. |A special thank you to Sir TJ for assisting us so well and for upgrading our room. We really appreciate his kindness and excellent service.|Everyone was accommodating and made us feel very welcome.|They also prepared a Happy Birthday banner on out room and a delicious cake! |Overall, we had such a great experience. The beautiful place, clean facilities, comfortable room and friendly service made my birthday celebration extra special. We would definitely love to come back!
