We spent two nights to see the town and castle. 10-15 minute walk to castle. Local shrine had a festival going, really made the trip. Room was small and clean, but the top floor Onsen was the winner! Lovely facility with our first Onsen experience. Skip the pricy breakfast and walk two minutes towards the train station to eat breakfast at Abe, a real find.

I had a great stay here. The location is excellent, sitting just a 10-minute walk from Matsumoto Station. The staff are exceptionally warm and accommodating, and their effort to speak English made communication seamless and highly appreciated. It’s a bit of a walk to the iconic Crow Castle, but the casual walk through the neighborhood is a fantastic way to soak in the scenery. Don't skip the breakfast—it’s absolutely amazing with a massive, diverse variety that hits every food group. Having a dedicated smoking room was also a major plus. Definitely worth a stay!

The hotel is conveniently located about 8 minute walk from Matsumoto Station and it is also within easy walking distance to local attractions such as Matsumoto Castle, museums, Nawate Street, and Nakamachi Shopping Street. It has offerings that are available at other Dormy chain hotels – night supper and hot springs. Night supper of complimentary ice cream or soba noodles are served at 9:30pm. Well-designed hot springs and sauna are available too. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The front desk staffs are very friendly and welcoming, and really made an effort to communicate with foreign guests. The room is comfortable, and the rooftop hot spring is the best part! very clean, relaxing, and perfect for resting after a long day of walking!

Very decent hotel. Quite spacious by Japanese standard. The room is very well-thought layout with separate toilet and washing basin area. The sleeping area is also partitioned from washing and toilet area with sliding door for better privacy. The hotel provide all-day free coffee and apple/orange juices. They also provide complementary ramen for supper.

This hotel is truly a gem. It’s only six min walk from the station. Fast check in. As Japanese hotels near train station usually very small, we always try to book twin rooms. This twin room has a separate sink outside the bathroom. Best of all this hotel has hot spring, both indoor and outdoor, very nice!

Staff are just superb, friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was impressive in variety and offering. The Onsen facilities are a further highlight along with the post Onsen ice cream and probiotic drinks included😀. The late night Soba noodles were another delightful touch. Complimentary washing machine access was very appreciated, rooms are quiet, aircon efficient. The translated remote control info( TV and air con) on the TV home screen was just so helpful. Delighted customers, thanks all.
