The hotel is in a great downtown location. Although the exterior of the building looks a bit old, the room inside was clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, there was plenty of free parking available right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for those traveling by car.

The hotel is located a bit far from the nearest station, but it has a quiet surroundings and close to restaurants and convenient stores, so it's okay. The room is small for foreigners' standard, but quite comfortable.

As a Japanese citizen, I had stayed at a single room of this hotel from 2012.08.31 through 09.01 for one night on my way to "Azumino" area. Free Internet access is in a good condition. It is located in the housing area. And the final entering road to reach the hotel is narrow and not easy to find. But if you go by car and the car navigation would help you the place.Though the name is "Matsumoto", it is far from the main "Matsumoto" city and tourist area. You need to pay in a check in. Hotel lobby and room is clean. Tooth brush is provided in a room. The room and bath/toilet size is no problem for me like a Japanese people, but a bit too small for the western travelers to know the American/European standard international hotel. Toilet pot is with shower. The size of a bath tub is a bit small but is normal for the Japanese "business" hotel. Don't expect the comfort of sizes at this hotel if you're an international traveler. Inside of a hotel, there is a vending machine but beers are expensive as twice compared to those purchased in a supermarket. Don't worry because in a back side of the hotel, there is a convenience store "Lawson" (like 7 eleven/around the clock open), which gives you a reasonable price and "Chu-Hi" (Drinking "Izakaya") stand opened until 23:00. And also, there're other food restaurants. Breakfast in amount of 700 yen needs to be requested at check in or at least one day before. You cannot eat on a day if you don't ask in advance. Free buffet style for the Japanese/Western can be available. I recommend the Japanese one because the cooking materials are produced in a local area, for example, "Miso" (Soy bean) soup. You can select your favorite pillows at the ground floor if you don't like one provided in a room. Free size "Yukata" (Bath robe) also can be selected. Microwave is installed there. Again, if you're an international traveler, don't expect too much. You'd need to think this hotel is just to sleep only. I didn't find the English signs and wonder if the receptionists understand English. I will use this hotel again near future when I come back to "Matsumoto".

Simple hotel with great price. Bed is too small for 2 person sleep but think this is very normal in Japan. The room is clean. There is a coin laundry in the hotel. Free parking is available for guest.

We got a good deal for this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location is OK, several restaurants within walking distance. It is quite far from the centre of town, but very close to Hirata JR Station. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Good bed.
