I stayed here for 6 nights on a business trip. The hotel is in a fantastic location and the room was very comfortable. The gym is also good quality. The reason for leaving a review is to recognise Steve who served us at breakfast most days. He’s a fantastic guy and has a real gift for providing quality service. Every morning he’d welcome us by name and asked how our meetings were going - remembering details from previous days. The breakfast was also fantastic. Hilton are very lucky to have Steve on their team - please make sure his excellent service is recognised. Thank you.

We managed to get a great 3 night deal and so glad we did. Arriving late from the airport due to a delayed flight we went straight to bed and it was comfy and the AC impressively went below the usual 18C which was appreciated to keep the room cool overnight. It was quiet, comfy, clean. Location was perfect and the gym was fantastic with great modern equipment (and empty when I went!). We didn’t eat or have breakfast at the hotel but the happy hour cocktails were nice! Would definitely stay again, particularly if I could get another good deal.

We have had a great stay experience at this hotel, everything was good, including public amenities , our room, and services from many staff members! As diamond members, we received a lot of benefits and were upgraded to a room with a huge balcony! The view was amazing ! I especially wanted to thank a staff member from the front desk who is an Asian guy,not tall, black hair, for giving many suggestions and help ! On the other hand, an Asian male staff member who was wearing glasses was not friendly . Addition to that , everything is good! I will come back here next year!

Stayed for 8 nights during our recent Melbourne trip. It was a good stay from start to end. The front desk offered warm cookies upon our arrival at night, which help tide our stomachs before dinner. Hotel staff were pleasant and attentive throughout our stay. Room was clean and spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. We were surprised by a free bottle of white wine in the room, which we had the pleasure of enjoying in the park. Room was cleaned daily with daily change of towels. Hotel even arranged for travel adapters for us when we discovered ours wasn’t suitable for Australia. Hotel amenities are only provided upon request, but they were delivered quickly or left in room, per our requests. There is no drinking water provided in room but you can refill your water bottle from the hotel bar in the lobby.Hotel location is excellent, along Flinders St, right opposite the station. Plenty of cafes, food, marts and tram stops nearby. Hotel was also near all our pick-up points for all our day trips.Only suggestion is to install a proper shower screen/ door, as it gets cold when showering at night and the toilet area gets wet and slippery after a shower.Otherwise, highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Melbourne!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am currently staying at the Hilton on Flinders Street, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’m recovering from a hair transplant, and the care and kindness I’ve received from the entire team have exceeded all my expectations. Every single staff member from reception to housekeeping to breakfast staff goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and everyone is genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless and incredibly comfortable, and the service is truly outstanding. During a time when rest and comfort are especially important, the team has made me feel completely at home. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Hilton for making my stay so special. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melbourne. 🧡

My Dad and I stayed at this hotel in one of the disabled rooms (315) for the Grand final, it was a really good experience. Check-in was quick and easy, the complimentary warm cookie was fantastic. Buffet breakfast was also quite nice, they came around with little peach iced teas which I enjoyed alot. We needed to stay in a room with disabled requirements due to my dad being in a wheelchair, they had to swap a bed out to fit the height of his wheelchair for easy transfer. The hotel was very accomodating with everything. We had an issue with our chrome cast and the hotel gave us complimentary movies for the night until maintenance was able to come in the next day, so we were very happy with that! Other little minuscule issues nothing really major, just some recommendationsmore than anything. Firstly was where my dads bed was set up he couldn't turn his lamp off being in a wheelchair the switch was on the floor! So he had to use a coat-hanger to press the floor switch in order to turn the light off after reading in bed. To be fair we could have asked the hotel to swap lamps but we didnt want to be a bother, it was just something to point out and secondly was the water pressure in the hotel shower was noooooo good Dad being in a paraplegic needs quite a high pressure shower to wash properly, I think the cleaners the next day would of had an experience cleaning the bathroom. The shower head had an adjustable nossle but it was honestly no good at all, I would recommend upgrading if at all possible! I would also recommend getting some anti slip mats preferably for the disabled room showers as the floor was VERY slippery and it would have been quite dangerous if I wasn't there to hold the wheelchair during his transfer back into the chair after the shower, he would have 100% ended up on the floor of the bathroom. Also maybe look at getting an emergency button in the bathroom, if I wasn't there and he did have a fall, he would have been stuck there, somehow crawl out of the bathroom with no working legs, open the door and make it to his mobile to call for help. All this with hoping he hadn't Injured himself during the fall to the bathroom floor. Apart from that, comfy beds, fresh towels everyday.

Stayed at the hotel with a friend while our husbands were away and had the best time. The room was nice, the beds were very comfortable and breakfast was very food.. The highlight was the staff … Gregor at reception was lovely, (loved the “check in” cookies he gave us) and bar staff member Catie was also lovely and extremely friendly. All the other staff members we dealt with were very friendly … management should value their staff as the way they treat customers reflects on the business. Thanks for a great stay.

It’s been a loooong while since I have come across hotel employees that are genuinely helpful and appear to be happy with where they work. This generally means upper management must be good people or this hotel is just lucky to have the staff they have! All staff regardless of their responsibilities were great staff. We stayed on the 10th floor facing flinders street station (king sky river room). Very pretty when it lights up at night but I would be worried staying on the lower levels. The amount of light that reflects off the station would hit every corner of the blinds at night and I feel it would be too noisy on the lower levels. The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable but the biggest positive for me was the bed sheets. All hotels inclusive to 5 star fold the sheets into the doona but they always unfolds by the morning. I cannot stand this as I am left with sleeping over a doona that has no cover which I find unhygienic particularly as no doubt I wouldn’t have been the first. This hotel somehow folds the sheets so well over the doona that it stays intact, helping to have a good night sleep. The sheets also had a nice feel. I’d stay here again only on a higher level and in a corner room. The price matched the hotel room chosen. Also, for any management that may read this, forward this to upper management as you all need a pay rise!
