Had a perfect stay here! The hotel is amazing, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I don’t remember all their names, but there were two staff members at L1 and L2 who always said “welcome back” whenever I returned. Such a small thing, but it really made me feel welcome. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, with an amazing view of the sunrise through the large windows. The bathroom was also beautiful, with marble and stone finishes. Overall, really enjoyed my stay. Great hotel, great room, and lovely staff. Would definitely stay here again! The beside is Louis Vuitton and Chinatown, easy to get everything.

The hotel lobby and reception is spacious and welcoming. We spent a week and it felt like home after a few days. Location is a major advantage - within walking distance of all the CBD highlights. Consider including breakfast in your room booking - the buffet is very well done. Another worthwhile addition is club lounge access for evening food and drinks. The food selection changes each evening. Rooms are a bit smaller than expected, but still very comfortable. There are less expensive accommodation options but this is worth that slight premium. If I find myself in Melbourne again , we will return to the Hyatt.

We stayed here for a few days for a business/pleasure trip in winter. The room was large and we even had a big bath tub in there. Modern and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you need whilst away. Staff were really lovely and quick to help out when needed. E had drinks at the Rooftop Bar one evening, cocktails, and they were totally amazing. We had breakfast included in our deal and the menu was nice, not too many options though but the food was delicious. Really enjoyable stay.

I had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but what really made the experience special was the excellent service from Thu. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our visit. Her warm attitude and attention to detail made us feel very comfortable and well looked after. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Grand Hyatt Melbourne |Over the past 30 years I’ve organised regular corporate events at five star Melbourne Hotels. The Grand Hyatt Melbourne was always my favourite. I loved the experience of arriving at the hotel and having a drink in the bar. It felt luxurious and special. After a few days in the outback we decided to spoil ourselves with a night at Grand Hyatt. What a mistake! The place is so poorly run with waiters who don’t speak English let alone know anything about wine and a menu that is less than average. Service is confusion and if you expect to eat or have a drink after 9pm, forget it. The restaurant and bar close at 10pm and vibe is tired and old. Staff are busy chatting to each other and packing up early to leave. I had the worst whisky sour ever, served in the wrong glass. Honestly the outback pub was better.

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne was genuinely a lovely experience. What stood out to me most was how bespoke and attentive the service felt throughout our stay. There are three things I particularly look forward to when staying at a hotel like this, and the Grand Hyatt delivered on all three. First, the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. There was a genuine warmth in the way we were welcomed and looked after, which made the stay feel much more personal. It’s those little interactions and thoughtful touches that make you feel like a guest rather than simply another room number. Particularly Anthony from Collin's Kitchen who added a little touch of friendliness during our Breakfast Buffet (Highly Recommended). Second, the location is fantastic. It made exploring Melbourne incredibly convenient, with many of the city's attractions, restaurants, cafés, and laneways within easy reach. Being so close to places like Hosier Lane meant we could easily head out and explore, enjoy the food and atmosphere, and then return to the hotel without having to travel far. It was a great base for experiencing Melbourne. And finally, the room itself. It was pristine, comfortable, spacious, and very well maintained. After a full day of walking around the city, coming back to a clean and relaxing room with plenty of space was exactly what we needed. The attention to cleanliness and overall comfort really made a difference. Special mention to Maria who was the housekeeping attendant who cleaned our room during our stay at the hotel. Beyond those three things, I appreciated the overall atmosphere of the hotel. There is a sense of calm and understated elegance that makes it easy to relax. My daughter and I particularly enjoyed the Yoga Channel, which we tuned in during the mornings to do our morning routine. The 4D3N stay went without a hitch and everything was working as expected. Furthermore ,I enjoyed the experience which felt personal despite being a large hotel. The combination of attentive service, an excellent location, and a beautiful, comfortable room made our stay feel genuinely special. A final thanks to Peter from the front desk who helped us print out our flight tickets. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne and would happily stay here again.

We spent a night in the city while visiting friends and had a really lovely stay. The location is fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, and having a room with views over the city made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was included and was well above what you would normally expect from a standard hotel breakfast, with a great selection to choose from. We were very impressed, especially with the fresh juices. A wonderful stay and a hotel we would happily return to.
