The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring the city, and the cleanliness of both the room and public areas was top-notch throughout my stay. Service-wise, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The front desk staff during check-in were polite and efficient enough, though the interaction felt rather indifferent and transactional with little warmth. However, check-out was a completely different story—the senior staff member who assisted me with my luggage was exceptionally warm, professional, and helpful. He left a truly wonderful and lasting impression before my departure. I would certainly recommend The Savoy for anyone seeking a spotless, exceptionally located hotel in Melbourne, and a special thank-you to the gentleman who handled my luggage on my final day!

Had a great stay! The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Enzo was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The concierge service was also available via WhatsApp, which made communication super convenient, with quick responses and speedy service. Overall a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend!

The Savoy is very conveniently situated, especially if travelling by train. The staff were lovely, especially Gerard in the bar. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, thought the lighting was very low and we had to request a lamp for extra light. An easy chair for watching tv or just relaxing would have been good. What lets the Savoy down is the breakfast, nothing was ever more than lukewarm and overall it was not of the standard we expected. I would give the hotel three and a half stars, it was better than average, good but not very good.

From Taiwan. Great location right across from Melbourne transportation hub, with access to all ground transportation services. And quick food and shopping options.Small bathroom with good shower water pressure, flow so it can be hot wonderful shower but since it is small and shower has no door so the water splash out easily.However, there is no water dispenser to fill with water, and to promote environmental protection, there are no disposable paper slippers. There are towels, bath towels, and a hair dryer, and the hair dryer has a large airflow.

Here’s a more natural and balanced version: TripAdvisor Review✓ I’ve stayed here numerous times and keep coming back because it feels more genuine than many of the larger chain hotels in the area. The location is very convenient, right on the SkyBus route, and it’s easy for Uber drivers to find for both pick-up and drop-off. It’s also easy to pick up grocery or other items from nearby Southern Cross. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options, although the quality can be a little hit and miss. The hotel has a beautiful foyer, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. One minor observation is that some of the showers can overflow a little and the elevators have had minor hiccups, but overall this is a comfortable hotel and a great base for accessing public transport and exploring the city and beyond.

We stayed at Savoy Room King for five nights. The location was excellent, right across from the SkyBus terminal. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had two luggage racks, which made it easy to unpack our suitcases. The bathroom had two bath towels, one hand towel, and one face towel. I wasn't sure why only one of each was provided for two guests. We asked for another set, and they brought it to us. The bathroom wasn't very practical. The shower didn't have a door, and the sink was quite small and high, so it was easy to splash water around. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

Perfect spot to spend a weekend in Melbourne. Our room was clean and comfortable - great bed. One minor issue is that we like to sleep in pitch darkness and the blackout curtains let some light in around the edges.

Super comfortable rooms, spacious with plenty of natural light. Great atmosphere. The location is also great. A special shout out to 'Glen' and 'Connor' - service with a smile and they have a sense of calmness and acceptance about themselves. They never seem to be bothered or hassled by my numerous requests... Have stayed here more than 30 times....
