Classic Stay with a Great Lounge Experience I’ve stayed at Sheraton María Isabel before, and this time I felt the overall service has improved, which is great to see. That said, there’s still a bit of inconsistency depending on the moment or area of the hotel. What remains outstanding is the Club Lounge service. The team there is always incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely focused on making your stay better. It really makes a difference. The location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths, right on Reforma, which makes it very convenient to move around the city. If you can, try to get a room in the tower facing Reforma, the view is absolutely worth it. It’s an older, classic hotel, and while you can feel its age in some aspects, it still offers a solid and comfortable experience overall. As a nice touch, I really loved the macarons left as a courtesy in the room, a small detail that made the stay even more enjoyable.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico.The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future.On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service.If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.

Every time I visit Mexico City, I stay at the Sheraton Maria Isabel. The location is outstanding, just steps from the Angel of Independence, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the people. The service is exceptional from arrival to departure, and the Concierge team on the 18th floor deserves special recognition. Marian, Efren, Fidel, Carlos, Alma to name but a few, are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. Their genuine warmth and commitment to guests create an experience that keeps me coming back year after year. Even after a long absence, Marian without fail welcomes me back, and remembers my breakfast order every time! Exceptional! Outstanding! They are what make this hotel so special and why the Sheraton Maria Isabel remains an iconic destination in Mexico City.

An Unforgettable Birthday Stay with the Best Views of the Angel! I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel for my birthday from August 22–28, and it was exceptional. From the moment I checked in—where I received beautiful wood-carved animal figures that are now proudly on display in my home in Virginia—the care of the associates was incredible. We stayed in a booked, corner suite that offered a head-on panoramic view of the Angel of Independence. Initially, the sofa bed in the suite was uncomfortable, but housekeeping responded and turned it into a terrific, comfortable setup. The service at the 18th-floor Club Lounge was the highlight. A huge thank you to Marian, Charly, Efren, Fidel, and Jose—their attentiveness and fantastic service made us feel so celebrated. Also, a special shout-out to the two guys running the sushi bar on the evening of August 28th; they were awesome and the sushi was amazing! I am missing a few names, but every single associate went above and beyond. Thank you for making my birthday trip so memorable!

We are very glad that we chose this place. The location is fantastic, the services are exceptional and the people here are very kind and helpful. Guillermo who we've met at Breakfast was such a great host to us. My mother was feeling ill and he took it upon himself to assist with providing her the best meals to ensure she could recover well. She has felt better thanks to him. We can't thank him enough for his generosity. |We also want to recognize Alvaro, who was one of the drivers who supports Sheraton. Aside from being a great driver who knows the city like the back of his hand, he is also a wealth of knowledge that cannot be matched. If you drive with him, he can tell you anything and everything about where you are going. This trip could not have been better without him. We can't recommend and thank him enough either.

We wanted to explore some new areas of Mexico City and chose this hotel for its location. That part worked perfectly, although the traffic to get to and from the hotel was intense.|The check-in and check-out process was easy. The concierge staff was helpful. The Club Lounge had enough good choices to eat and the service there was very good. The Lobby Bar was the largest we have ever seen and even included a piano player.|The hotel and our room were very clean. Some remodeling or updating would be helpful.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Right in the center of reforma with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great service the front door is almost always held open by a doorman even though they have the automatic rotating doors. Corporate price makes this hotel affordable for my company. Easy to find something to eat whether it be quick bite to eat or fancy sit down restaurants. With status and access to the lounge on the 18th floor you get breakfast included and other items you can grab throughout the day. Overall excellent hotel.

Location of the hotel is great. Right on Reforma in front of Angels. Rooms are good (slighly old style - but nothing boring). I could hear sound from upper room (mainly chair I believe). Club lounge is good (found vegan and vegetarian options on daily basis ). I used Gyn for one day - very spacious and plenty of equipments. Food in restaurant is great (Including Vegan options).
