Absolutely LOVED every part of our time with Senda Monteverde. First - the driver, Julio, was amazing. He was so kind and supportive as we needed to take occasional breaks for carsickness. He picked us up from the beach and brought us up to the hotel - stopping for lunch at a delightful place where he showed us some beautiful birds. Second - the tours we went on were fabulous. Jeffrey who took us through the Cloud Forest was AWESOME. He was so knowledgeable, congenial, funny, and really passionate. His friendship with other tour guides was to our benefit (saw some stunning animals). And he was so engaging and patient with our 9 year old son. As for the hotel dining - wow wow wow!!! just thinking about the food still makes me salivate. Dorian and Gabo were truly exemplary servers. They were kind, funny, helpful, and offered impeccable service. We still reflect on our delightful meals... and the fact that they were super kind about our son falling asleep with his head on the table after a long day! Carmen at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She and I emailed a dozen or more times as I got our itinerary figured out, and she never lost patience with me and my million questions. She helped me sort out the best two days in Monteverde and I could not be more grateful to her. The room - wow - the sunset view was like poetry. and the bottle of wine in the room was delicious and helped us really sink into Pura Vida vibes. The room itself was very comfortable and the turn down service made me feel like a kid - warm water bottles to heat up the bed linens - swoon! If this experience was the standards across Cayuga resorts, then we will absolutely plan stays in other countries specially around those hotels. Recommended across the board with five stars. Muchas Gracias Amigos!!

We really loved our stay at Senda Monteverde. We were in a cabin with two rooms. Everything was clean and the beds are comfortable. Turn down service included a hot water bottle and little chocolate. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful! There's no air conditioning, but the nights are cool in Monteverde and you really don't need it. I loved waking up to the cacophony of birds chirping and seeing the family of coatis on our walk to breakfast!

Amazing experience! We came here with 3 little kids. The staff was accommodating and helpful. We loved the restaurant el Sapo. One of the highlights of our stay! The food was outstanding. We had the chefs special the first night. It was so good that we came back for diner 3 nights in a row. Even the kids meals were delicious and so tasty! We would definitely come back.

Hotel Senda Monteverde was magical! The accommodations were cozy, clean and comfortable. The hot tub, pool and sauna were perfect after a morning adventure, and the food was amazing--fresh, healthy and delicious. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Trained naturalist Joseph taught us so much about the animals and plants of Costa Rica, and we are so grateful to have spent time with him! Highly recommend Hotel Senda!

Wonderful hotel in the mountains. A oasis of peace and tranquility. We had a lovely house to ourselves and the best service possible. Particularly Gabrielle made our stay unforgettable. Food in the restaurant is great - something for all of the family. Highlight: the pool area with sauna and hot tub. We would always choose Senda again.

What a lovely stay in Monteverde. I think the real highlight to this hotel is the property itself. The views over the town are incredible, the flora and fauna is vibrant, and the accessible hiking trails are delightful. The hospitality of the staff was top notch and the restaurant was great too!

We had a wonderful four-night stay and were impressed with the level of service and care put into the property. When we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were flexible and understanding with our plans. The property itself is beautiful, high level of detail throughout. There are so many charming little nooks and thoughtfully designed spaces. Everywhere you turn there is something to notice. The wildlife on the property was also amazing and very active! We book several experiences through the hotel. Well organized. Laura and Jazmin at the concierge desk were extremely accommodating and helped make sure everything during our stay ran smoothly. Tour guides Jefrey and Joseph were informative and made each experience unique. Overall, great experience and would recommend staying here.
