This hotel has been beautifully renovated. It is perfectly located in the center of Old Montreal. It has a warm, cozy, and friendly feel. The staff is frendly and very helpful. I viisited with a group of 10 and the hotel went above and beyod to make us all comfortable. They checked on us regularly throughout our stay and quickly addressed any of our questions or requests. I would hightly recommed this beautiful hotel to anyone visiting Montreal.

I ended up at this hotel unexpectedly and they accommodated me as well as they could. For more information on that see my review under place d’armes. The staff at the hotel were generally excellent, friendly, and helpful. I was upgraded to a junior suite to accommodate me for trouble at the first hotel. The room was spacious and clean. It was a very busy holiday weekend in old Montreal and while the hotel is well located near the port and basilica, it’s also directly adjacent to several bars. The noise each of my four night stay was extremely loud, consisting mostly of bumping bass/music, rev’ing of sported up vehicles, and screeches of drunk people on the street. It was akin to what one would expect if they were to stay on the strip in a college town. So if you aren’t coming to party and are a light sleeper id consider staying elsewhere. There are several bars located on property but they are open to public and do not reserve space for hotel guests, so don’t expect to be able to get in. I was unable to get into the downstairs bar at all, and to get on the rooftop bar I had to beg the female hostess/bouncer to let me in for a single drink and finally she acquiesced and said fine if you want to sit over there by yourself go ahead. I was traveling alone, but wanting a drink after dinner didn’t seem like reason to invite attempted humiliation, though I got my drink. I read that there is supposed to be a spa in 2027 but no facilities like that exist now to my knowledge. The hotel is modern and nice and the staff generally gracious, for the amount being spent id consider other possibilities before staying here.

We had an exceptional experience at Hotel Nelligan from the moment we stepped out of our vehicle. We were immediately greeted by Masta, who took care of everything for us and made us feel genuinely welcomed. He showed us to our room, explained all the thoughtful details and features, and gave us wonderful recommendations for the area since it was our first time visiting Old Montreal. His service truly set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with so much character, warmth and charm. Our room was comfortable and had an incredible feeling and vibe—the kind of space that makes you instantly relax and feel like you are somewhere special. The location was also perfect for exploring Old Montreal. We had lunch at Mama C, and it was absolutely delicious. The food, atmosphere and service were all wonderful and added to an already memorable experience. Our only concern was the view from our particular room, which backed onto an area with garbage bins. There was a slight garbage smell at times, and the collection trucks were quite loud very early in the morning. We understand that this is outside the hotel’s control, but light sleepers may want to request a room facing a different direction. Aside from that, everything was excellent. The hospitality, attention to detail, beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service made Hotel Nelligan truly special. We would absolutely stay here again we’re actually planning to return in November. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal. Thank you!

I had an excellent stay at the Hôtel Nelligan. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even accompanied us to our room, helping with our luggage while walking us through all the room’s features and amenities. That level of attention to detail immediately set the tone for our stay. The room itself was exquisite. Spacious, elegant, and exceptionally quiet. The quality of the materials stood out everywhere, with beautiful real wood and marble finishes that gave the space a refined and luxurious feel. The bathroom was another highlight, featuring a stunning design and the same high-end craftsmanship. The hotel as a whole was impeccably maintained and even had a wonderful signature scent that added to the overall experience. Throughout our stay, every staff member was attentive, professional, and eager to help. I truly cannot wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a classy and memorable stay in Old Montreal.

We visited the terrace while staying nearby and had an amazing experience. The service was exceptional right from the start when William and Masta greeted us outside. Masta even managed to squeeze in one more seat at our table. While the portions are a bit small for the price, watching the sunset from the roof makes it worth every penny. Hotel Nelligan is definitely where we will stay next time!!

An absolute standout experience at the Corner Suites! The hotel's new renovations are incredibly impressive and beautiful, seamlessly blending modern luxury with a flawless aesthetic. Yet what truly made my stay so memorable was the phenomenal front-of-house service. Masta and William both went entirely above and beyond. From the moment I arrived, their professionalism, warm demeanor, and impeccable attentiveness as valet and doormen set the perfect tone for the entire visit. They didn’t just handle logistics; they anticipated my needs with a level of hospitality that is rare to find. A massive thank you to both of them for making the arrival and departure feel so seamless and high-end. Masta & William are a true asset to the property.

I was originally searching for a small room to host my friend's baby shower. We came across Hotel Nelligan and it exceeded all of my expectations! This place was actually huge. I ended up inviting more family and we still had enough room to play games and dance! I'll absolutely be returning for future events. The server was so sweet and took care of all of my friend's pregnant needs and Maurice the event planner at Omega Design was amazing with communication. If you're looking for the perfect place to host your baby shower or any event for that matter, this is it!

I had the pleasure of being caught into a birthday surprise supper at Mama C by some friends. It was a delightful experience both from the gastronomy aspect and from the customer experience. Our valet, Masta demonstrated the value of being properly handled and while attending to his primary duties and delivered some best recommendations of food choices, the lamb shoulder was pure dope. The service was excellent.
