The Sofitel Montreal is a terrific Hotel. It is fresh and modern and the bed is super comfortable. Service is also amazing as I appreciated the dessert for my birthday. Absolutely well done. And breakfast in the restaurant each morning also very good. Only suggestion is to upgrade the Kleenex and toilet tissue as it's not very soft. Overall, great hotel and a great location

- Location is in the heart of Montreal. Close to McGill university. - Truly luxurious feeling from the moment you step into the lobby and restaurants. Everything feels very new, refreshed and elegant. - Room are modern and comfortable with the all the amenities. First hotel we've stayed in Canada that provides slippers for guests (no need to request). Pillow menu and bath tub essentials are provided upon request which we didn't expect. - Service: All the staff were professional and polite, but also extremely warm and personalized. It’s not the kind of polite-but-scripted service you often get in North America. Huge credit to the front desk and bell staff for making the stay so memorable. Best hospitality we’ve experienced in Canada so far. You can really feel that they care and pay attention to the small details, rather than just getting the job done. - Breakfast was very good, but the line outside the restaurant was quite long. This is the only downside of the hotel. A 5 star hotel with such high standard of service should not make guests lining up waiting for a table (15 to 20 minutes). The wait felt more like lining up at a canteen for free food than being at a luxury hotel. There were plenty of tables ready inside the restaurant when we came in so maybe they were understaffed. - Gym is amazing but no pool which is surprising. We did expect a pool for a scale of this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of a beautiful city. My husband and I stayed here prior to getting married in Quebec City and it was the perfect spot. The hotel is in a great location that is walkable to so many attractions. The room was clean and spacious and had fancy toiletries (which I always love!). And the makeup mirror in the bathroom was an extra special touch as the lighting & magnification & location were spot on. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and there was special spa water in the lobby each day. The Sunday brunch was beyond amazing and the included continental breakfast was yummy and just enough to start the day. We definitely plan to return and found the room to be of great value.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile was truly excellent and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the entire team was professional, courteous, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. A special thank you to Santiago, Hassan, and Najeeb, who provided outstanding service in the restaurant. They were attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to accommodate our halal meal requests. We also want to recognize Fillippe, our bellman, whose professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to help made a lasting impression. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Superior Room on the 15th floor. The room was beautiful, impeccably clean, and offered spectacular views of both the city and the mountain. The hotel’s ambiance is elegant and welcoming, and its central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Montreal. What impressed us most was the consistent professionalism of every staff member we encountered. Everyone was polite, accommodating, and genuinely focused on delivering exceptional hospitality. If there were two suggestions for an even better guest experience, they would be to consider offering a complimentary car wash for guests using valet parking, and to make some improvements to room service and housekeeping consistency. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Thank you to the entire Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile team for making our visit so memorable.

This is a fantastic hotel located in downtown Montreal just a stones throw away from Mont Royale (the famous mountain from which Montreal got its name) and McGill University. It's luxurious and simultaneously practical. I love this place. The restaurant is great and the Sofitel team go out of their way to make you feel at home. Special thanks to Frederique at the front desk who promptly attended to my queries. I will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time I visit the city. The beds are so comfortable (they even have a sleep menu where you can choose the type of pillow and other items to improve your nights rest), and the rooms are quiet. My experience at Sofitel Montreal positively reinforces my decision to be loyal to hotels within the Accor group umbrella.

Very nice comfortable rooms. Quiet even pn lower floors. One nit to pick- why charge ($25!)if you want the minibar emptied so you can put your own food inside? Cleaning staff was very attentive and scheduled cleaning times around my zoom schedule and on site meeting times.

Great atmosphere without the populace found in many other hotels. It is calm and relaxing. The bar and restaurant are outstanding in service and food. Can not be faulted there. The front desk staff are professional and helpful. The concierge is very informative and helpful. The doorman are very caring and funny. The room was small but I suspect it was normally part of a suite. The only let down was with cleaning. It took to few requests over hours to get shop in the shower. It is a very good hotel and if you not to be annoyed with the masses this is the place for you. Comfortable, relaxing, peaceful and generally good service.
