A superbly central base for exploring Montréal. The hotel is spotless, and service throughout was very good. Our One King Deluxe High Floor room was spacious, quietly elegant, and well appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was very well equipped, including an efficient jacuzzi. The granite finish colours were so tasteful that they made me reconsider my own décor at home. Breakfast was enjoyable at the restaurant and very tasty at the café.

Vogue Hotel Montreal exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt elevated. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and boutique charm, with beautifully designed spaces, spacious rooms, and an unbeatable downtown location that’s within walking distance of some of Montreal’s best restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the service. A special thank you to Alexia, who went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcomed. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail turned a great stay into a memorable one. It’s rare to come across hospitality that feels this personal, and she is a tremendous asset to the hotel. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member who stays at hotels frequently, I can confidently say this ranks among my favorite Hilton properties. Every interaction with the staff was friendly and polished, the room was immaculate, and the overall atmosphere made it feel like a true luxury experience. I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Montreal. Highly recommended.

We chose the Vogue for a special trip to Montreal as it was my husband’s 40th birthday. We booked through American Express Platinum and, having read so many reviews describing the hotel as a four-star property that feels closer to five-star, we were really looking forward to a more elevated experience and hoped for a good upgrade. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel that the overall experience lived up to those expectations. Our upgraded room was still fairly standard in size and felt more like a typical four-star room than a particularly luxurious one. Some of the room and bathroom finishes were looking tired. The bath in particular looked quite dated around the edges, the bathroom door had visible damage at the bottom with a small dent and peeling wood finish, and the towels felt old and slightly yellowish rather than fresh and luxurious.” There were also a few smaller service details that, when added together, were disappointing. On our third day, our tea and coffee weren’t replenished and I had to call the concierge to request them. On another occasion, I asked reception about ordering food to the room and was simply told to call the restaurant myself, with the explanation that it wasn’t part of their remit. I found this a little surprising for a hotel at this level — even if reception doesn’t take the order directly, I would have expected a more helpful response or for someone to offer to connect us. On our final day, we checked out around 4pm and were waiting before heading to the airport. We tried to sit in the downstairs area, but were told that we needed to purchase a drink to use the space. The lobby was extremely busy and there was essentially nowhere else to sit. It felt like an unnecessary inconvenience when we were already guests of the hotel and simply waiting to leave for the airport. None of these things individually would have been a major issue. It’s the accumulation of them that made the stay feel less special than we had anticipated — particularly given that this was a 40th birthday trip. For comparison, we stayed at Le Germain in Toronto immediately beforehand, also using our Amex benefits, and the difference was quite striking. There we had a beautiful large room, an excellent shower, a separate toilet, a table and armchairs, and thoughtful touches such as a carafe of water prepared in the room and a small chocolate. It felt genuinely special and the attention to detail was noticeable. The Vogue is in a fantastic location and is certainly a pleasant four-star hotel. Perhaps our expectations were simply too high, but based on its reputation and the reviews we had read, we expected the upgrade, room and service to feel considerably more luxurious and thoughtful. For a normal city stay, it may be perfectly fine. For a special occasion where you’re expecting a more elevated experience, however, we were disappointed.

Hubby and I just spent 4 nights at The Vogue. Great location, comfortable, spacious room, and outstanding, helpful staff. The rooms were immaculate and had daily housekeeping services. The Nespresso coffee maker made delicious coffee each morning. We had breakfast each day which was delightful and had many options from which to choose. The attached restaurant turns into YAMA in the evening which offered EXQUISITE delightful, well-presented Japanese food. We dined there twice. Two staff members - Chris and Ian should be recognized for their helpfulness. Thank you. I’d stay here in a heartbeat again. It was wonderful. Concrete suggestions for creating even a better hotel - provide filling stations for water and install a way to “cast” my own shows on the TV. Also need room service food option other than menu from YAMA (ie charcuterie trays)

I stayed at the Vogue Hotel for business and had an excellent experience. My room overlooked Rue de la Montagne facing Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, with wall-to-wall windows, high ceilings, and an impressive amount of space. It was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I have stayed in, especially for a downtown property. The bathroom was equally generous, with both a bathtub and a separate shower, and the entire room had a sophisticated yet very comfortable atmosphere. The service was outstanding throughout my stay. Every staff member I encountered was professional, welcoming, and attentive to detail. The valet service was particularly impressive. My car was always ready exactly when requested, and the gentleman kindly placed my luggage in the vehicle and added bottles of water before I left. These thoughtful touches made the experience feel truly personalized. The Vogue Hotel would easily be at the top of my list for a future stay in Montreal. It combines spacious and beautifully designed accommodations with professional service and genuine attention to the guest experience.

Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown was one of the best stays I had this year. The hotel was extremely clean, there were so many services available and the fitness centre was excellent. The location was incredible, just a few steps away from the best stores and restaurants. The valet parking system was also well organized and the employees provided superior customer service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I need to stay in Downtown Montreal.

We stayed here for two nights in October, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the location in downtown Montreal was very convenient for shopping and getting around. One thing to be aware of is breakfast. The hotel seems to host many events, and breakfast for hotel guests was restricted on both days of our stay. On the first morning, the front desk told us breakfast started at 7 a.m., but when we arrived, we were told it would only be available from 8:30 because of an event. On our departure day, a notice was slipped under our door early that morning saying the restaurant would be closed to hotel guests until 9:30 due to a event, so we had breakfast through room service instead. The room service staff member was very kind. When we mentioned that we had a flight to catch, our breakfast arrived quickly, and they even added a small vase of flowers to our tray, which was a lovely touch. It seemed that only one person was handling all the room service calls that morning, which felt like a lot for one staff member, so we really appreciated the care and effort. If you have an early flight or a tight morning schedule, I recommend checking the breakfast hours in advance. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel with very friendly service.
