Staff (everyone!!) Is fantastic, helpful, friendly, personable. They truly made this stay a great one. 🟣 Some items to note... Street View....Is noisy. This part of town has a LOT of diversity, there were groups making constant noise, yelling and talking at the top of their lungs. Very annoying 😡, so make sure to ask for a room away from the street. 🟣 Laundry facility.....is very close, easy to use. (Drei does not have a guest laundry) 🟣 Parking....Horribly crowded downtown, but the 5 Hotel across the street allowed me to park in their underground garage with elevator! 🟣 Restaurants....are mixed. Excellent restaurant is Lowenbrau Keller Biergarden that is co owned by the Drei, about 15 minute walk. 25% off is offered by the Drei Rexeptionist, they can make a reservation for you, make sure to bring the paper with 25% off. 🟣 Munchner Stubn is Excellent, fantastic restaurant! Very close, just a block away. Ca'd'Oro Italian is also good, recommend making a reservation. 🟣 Marienplatz is walking distance, very easy to find. 🟣 Bus tours leave from an area just a few blocks away, near entrance to Marienplatz. 🟣 Overall....I was happy with this visit, Staff is incredible, Breakfast is wonderful, but the Street Noise 😡 and Overall feel of the street felt a bit unsafe for me. Recommended if you need a place downtown near Haupbahnhof.

As a single traveller I was given a room with a tiny single bed, I don’t think I stayed in any hotel for the past decade where there’s a single bed like a kid’s bedroom. The aircon works well but it shuts down randomly every hour - and by shut down I don’t mean reaching the temperature, I mean actually turning off, so after 20 minutes you wake up sweaty. The rooms don’t get cleaned by policy unless you remember to tell them before 6pm in person at reception. The bathroom radiator is also remotely controlled and therefore shuts down or turns on when the reception allows it. I really don’t like when you’re a hotel guest and the hotel decides for you how your room comfort should be. EDIT: asked them to disable aircon remote management, they agreed - nothing happened, still turns off every 40 minutes :-/

There was no air conditioning, no kettle, and the “fridge” consisted of nothing more than a cooling plate that didn’t even get cold. It was obvious that light fixtures had been removed and never replaced, leaving the room dimly lit. The bathroom light would even trip the power from time to time. Their four-star rating was perhaps something they accidentally picked up off the floor several decades ago. I am sorry for that google can’t choose 0 star.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The reception team is outstanding—special thanks to Aneta, who was incredibly friendly and guided me in a truly excellent way. The breakfast is very good, and the lobby is both welcoming and stylish. The only downside is that the rooms feel a bit outdated!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel because it’s just a short walk from Munich Central Station and within walking distance of the famous Marienplatz and Karlsplatz. I booked the deluxe room, which gave me plenty of space. It’s indeed spacious. The bed and pillows are super comfy. I had a great night’s sleep during my stay here. The one thing missing from this 4-star hotel is tea/coffee and a water kettle in the room. I got lucky because the lady at reception provided me with a water kettle so I could get hot water, which was very much needed during the wintertime.
