The Hilton Munich Airport sits directly between Terminals 1 and 2, putting travelers steps from the check-in counters and gates. Public transport links are strong, and the city center is a 45-minute ride away.

Day-use rooms offer a quiet place to rest between flights, while the Mountain Hub Spa is built for post-journey recovery. A two-hour spa pass suits those with only a short window to recharge.

Dining reaches a high standard at the Mountain Hub Gourmet Restaurant, which holds a Michelin star, and the stylish bar is a relaxed spot for a drink. A second restaurant broadens the culinary choices. For events, 30 modern meeting rooms can host business gatherings or private functions. The airport, the nearby München Flughafen Terminal 2 train station, and the Airport Munich train station are all close at hand, while the English Garden is 25.2 km away, BMW Welt 26.2 km, Olympiapark München 26.6 km, Eisbachwelle 27.9 km, and Alte Pinakothek 28.2 km.

Good location for any transiting passengers, checkin was quick and smooth. The front desk lady (pity that I forgot her name) was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was much better than many other similar hotels in Germany. Option of the live counters were really good. Facilities in the room could have been a bit better like providing bathrobes, water bottles also for non-members. Otherwise room was well equipped and modern.

The hotel is between the two terminals. Exit terminal one. Follow the signs for Terminal 2. Step outside into a covered huge courtyard with restaurant, neon lights on buildings, and walk towards Terminal 2. Look to the left. It will be pressed up against Terminal 2 building. The Hilton Hotel sign and entry. Walk in. There's an elevator. Find the up button. When you're tired it feels hidden. The sign for the floors feels like a touch screen. It isn't. Go up to the lobby and check in. Buy your water in the lobby if needed. It's slightly cheaper than in the room. Great check in, they increased the numbers because the waiting line was getting longer. Professional staff and good welcome. Maybe because it was late, the green elevator did not go up at all. I walked the 3 flights upstairs. Perhaps it's an electrical thing. My room was exquisite ❤️ spacious, perfect temperature, automatic lights, easy switches, many outlet plugs, large windows, heavy curtains. Super quiet room. I didn't hear anything. Luxurious. I slept deeply and felt well rested. The bed was comfortable. I fell asleep immediately. Enjoy!

The hotel is just located next to terminal 2 of the airport. It is super convenient for travelers who have early flights. The room is clean and spacious. The products including shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are crab tree Evelyn which are nice. Water bottles are provided with fee charged unless you are a silver or gold member.

When catching an early flight out of Munich, this is the perfect place to stay. You can't get more convenient than this! From stepping out of our room to the Delta check-in counter was a little less than 10 minutes. The staff here are very friendly and helpful with directions to shopping, dining, and airport access. The Executive Lounge was really nice to unwind a bit after a drive from Amberg. I got an upgraded room (Lifetime Diamond benefit) to an Executive Suite. VERY nice room!!! Spacious with multiple areas for work, relaxing, and sleep. My next trip in/out of Munich will definitely be at the Hilton Munich Airport!

Really enjoyed my stay at Hilton Munich Airport. We stayed in a King Executive Runway View which had windows on two sides giving great views of one of the runways there. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and is probably the rest room I have stayed in, in recent years and included an impressive bathroom which included both a bath and stand alone shower. The hotel is quite vast and there was a bit of a walk to the central area with the reception restaurant, but nothing that would phase most people. I loved that we could easily walk to Terminal 2 and the shops and restaurants between the terminals from the hotel. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service by Murtaza Salihu who was a wonderful person working at the pool and Spa. He was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back for sure. Rooms are nice and updated. Very convenient location and five minutes walk to check in gate. Hotel staff helped us with our luggage and walked with us to check in and drop off luggage.

Wonderful stay at the Hilton in Munich. There were a few events on while we stayed, so it lent itself to a great buzz in the building. Staff were beautiful, impeccable, smartly dressed and so very polite. I loved the food & drink supplied and hope to stay again.

This hotel is a cut above the rest for a business meeting and the service provided before, during and after the event, Daria Ryman is a superstar 🌟and supported us through every detail with such efficiency. We had details of the room layout unique to our event, we chose the WiFi code for our guests, we even selected the chairs for the meeting. Small details but the detail is important. We met the chef to discuss the menu and final details, our meeting was small only 35 persons but everyone took the time to make it a success. Every member of staff we encountered was so helpful even those who were not directly involved with our event would stop and enquire if they could help. The hotel is a gem 💎 This is a meeting we run annually all over the world and this hotel stands out as excellent. We will definitely return. Thank you 🙏🏼 for making my job easier, seamless and fun !

Where can I eat near Hilton Munich Airport?

You can eat right at the hotel: Mountain Hub Social Dining serves alpine-inspired international dishes, and the Nightflight Bar offers cocktails and light meals. The Mountain Hub Gourmet is temporarily closed, so plan for the other venues. Just steps away in the airport, Airbraeu Brauhaus is a brew pub with German food and beer, and Airbrau Next to Heaven is a bar with similar fare. Seafood Sylt meets Asia, about 0.2 miles out, offers seafood and Asian dishes. The airport itself has around 60 restaurants, cafés and bistros, including Hofbräu Bistro, Paulaner and Dallmayr Bistro, all within easy reach.

What is the area around Hilton Munich Airport like?

The hotel sits right between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Munich Airport, so the area is all about travel convenience. You are steps from the Munich Airport Centre, which has around 150 shops and 60 restaurants, cafés and bistros, including Airbräu with its own brewery. The S-Bahn station is nearby, with the S1 and S8 lines taking you to central Munich in about 40 minutes. For a quick break, the Visitor Park at Munich Airport is just 0.10 kilometers away. The city center sights like the English Garden are about 25 km out, so plan for a train or taxi ride to reach them.

How do I get to Hilton Munich Airport from the airport or main train station?

The hotel is right at Munich Airport, between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, so if you land there, you can walk to it directly. From Munich Central Station, take the S1 or S8 S-Bahn; the ride takes about 40 minutes, with trains every 20 minutes. Get off at the airport station, and the hotel is a short walk away. Taxis are available at both terminals if you prefer a direct ride. The A92 motorway also connects the airport to the city if you are driving.

What's there to do near Hilton Munich Airport in the evening?

In the evening, you can stay close and enjoy the hotel's own Nightflight Bar for cocktails and light meals, or dine at Mountain Hub Social Dining for alpine-inspired dishes. Just a short walk away, Airbraeu Brauhaus offers Bavarian beer and food, and Airbrau Next to Heaven is another nearby bar option. For a change of scene, the airport itself has around 60 restaurants, cafés, and bistros to explore. If you want to head into Munich, the S-Bahn S1 or S8 runs every 20 minutes to the city center, where sights like the Hofbräuhaus and Odeonsplatz are about 28.7 km away, so plan for a longer evening trip.

Is Hilton Munich Airport a good base for exploring Munich?

Hilton Munich Airport is not a good base for exploring Munich's main sights, as they are far away. English Garden is 25.2 km, BMW Welt is 26.2 km, and Olympiapark Munchen is 26.6 km from the hotel. The city center sights, like Munich Residence and Hofbrauhaus Munchen, are over 28 km away. You would need to take the S-Bahn or a taxi into the city for sightseeing. However, the hotel is ideal for a layover or early flight, with the airport and its train station right at your doorstep. For a city trip, plan for a commute of about 40 minutes by train to the central station.
