Visited this property as a part of big group, everything worked smoothly. Room was spacious and bed good, airconditioning worked well. Breakfast selection wide enough but nothing extra. Coffeemachines were all the time crowded so maybe should consider to update some more. Pool was nice extra in the cityhotel but no option to change/sauna found there and no bathcloths in the room either…

An excellent hotel that made our stay truly special. The room service is outstanding, with great attention to detail and excellent service. One of the absolute highlights is the indoor swimming pool, which stays open until 11:00 p.m. Being able to come back after a long day and relax in the pool is a real luxury. It makes the whole stay so much more enjoyable and gives the hotel a special extra that many other hotels simply don’t offer. A wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended!

We had a great 4 nights stay in Maritime Munich.Hotel was exactly what you want centrally located 15 minute walk to Marienplatz and straight across the road from hauptbahnhof(central station). Hotel was pleasant with a 90's feel with decor was a small bit outdated but we only used the hotel to sleep so didn't mind us that much.Breakfast was included and there was a great selection of cold meats,fresh fruit and staples. The only negative was the location surrounding the hotel we did not feel comfortable walking down certain roads and lanes and tried to be home at an early time to avoid walking into trouble.Its one of the few times on holidays I grew eyes in the back of my head for me and my partner.Would not recommend staying in this area again and its a pity because there are genuine business being affected including maritime.

Located almost across the street from the Munich Center train station. Take the right lateral exit and you'll see Goethe St. in front of you; the hotel is just a few steps from the corner. A bit of a shady hood. Took Lufthansa bus from the airport - although the price is the same as the train and drops you off at the train station, the journey is longer, even though there was little traffic on a Sunday pm. Not worth it; take the train (43 min trip). Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were overall friendly. Room was ok in size, small bath. We asked for two single beds and they gave it to us - literally glued to each other; no space in between so no privacy. Bed was comfortable; AC worked ok, free wifi in the room was fine. Shower was good but toiletries were poor. Safe and minibar in room. TV had mostly German channels with a few international additions. Did not try restaurant nor the pool. |All in all, simple stay for just a few days. Nothing special about the place. Center is about a 20 min walk.

This hotel is well placed, being in downtown Munich, a stone's throw from Central Station and despite its central location, it is relatively quiet. The room (with separate bathroom) that my brother and I had, was adequately furnished, the beds were comfortable enough, though the pillows were a negative point...rather uncomfortable. Overall the room was good value for money.|Breakfast was great...great choice and overall excellent service in the breakfast dining area. The Piano Bar was, however, rather unattractive and pretty mundane...we only went there once and that was enough!|So, all in all, we can recommend this hotel for a stay in the wonderful Bavarian capital. And despite some other visitor comments regarding the location of this hotel, it is not an unsafe, seedy part of Munich...at no time, day or night, did we feel uneasy

Large room, friendly staff, and a welcoming property. Excellent breakfast—varied and high-quality. Very good position. The room was clean, but the beds weren't made properly; it looked like they had simply been covered up from the night before.

Stayed 2 nights at Maritime Hotel. The location was perfect as it was steps away from the station and we were arriving late at midnight. The hotel was nice and the pool was much appreciated ib the hot summer day but there was a mistake on our reservation and was given a double room instead of 2 twins which cost us extra to switch as there was only superior twin left. The room while large was strangely sloped leading to several head bumping. There was no shower door or curtain in the tub so the whole bathroom was wet after a shower but the biggest issue was the super soft pillow combine with a hard bed so wasnt able to much sleep.
