I've now visited Nagoya City five times, and I've stayed at this hotel every time. Its advantages include well-designed, comfortable spaces; great views; staff always keen to assist (with some English spoken); good food; efficient housekeeping with nothing forgotten or left out; and proximity to JR Nagoya, Kintetsu and Meitetsu Stations, the Midland Centre and many other shops as well as eateries (including all those at the stations). The Superior King room, which I've had before, was relatively compact but the best use was made of the space so there was no sense of being cramped. Both my large and small wheelies fitted in without trouble. Just inside the door there was a striking artistic vase. The lit glass cabinet held crockery, glassware, an ice bucket, and an electric jug along with supplies of black and green tea, and drip coffee. Cutlery was in a drawer below. On top of the mini fridge was the much-appreciated coffee capsule machine (with four capsules provided per day) . While the little table was a good height, as at several of the other Mitsui Garden Hotels I missed having a desk as the couch was too low for my back and knees to be comfortable for long - I had to put a pillow on the couch to raise the height. The TV had a wide choice of channels and the WiFi worked well. There was lots of hanging space with both a wardrobe and hooks on the walls for coats etc. In the wardrobe was a safe. The air conditioning could be adjusted, and I didn't have to refill the humidifier once (often at hotels this seems to be overlooked by housekeeping staff). The bathroom had a nice deep bath. There was ample bench space. A retractable clothes line as well a high rack not used for towels, along with the high railing around the bath, made drying damp clothes easy. The provided skin products were good quality. An iron and ironing board were provided upon request, and they stayed in my room till check-out which was handy. The staff kindly gave me a room with a distant view of Nagoya Castle's Tenshu, which I'd requested. I really enjoyed looking through the windows during the day and evening at the city spread out below in different directions, even with a skyscraper blocking part of the immediate view. As a Mitsui Garden Hotel Rewards Club member I was able to check in at 2pm rather than 3pm - always a bonus. Breakfast available till 10.30 which is useful too. The breakfasts, as usual, were good, particularly the eel which is one of the four set choices you can have along with offerings from the buffet. Favourites included the potato salad with red miso paste and the tuna pasta salad. It was helpful that breakfast ran till 10.30am, as I sometimes need a sleep-in due to mostly short sleeps while travelling. The hotel always has attractive floral arrangements and installations. I was disappointed to see that the cabinet near the lobby lifts, which used to contain both floral and ceramic displays, had vanished. It used to be such a pleasing feature. Now instead there are self-check-out machines in that location. Pity! Looking forward to next time!

Hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk from Nagoya station. Staff are all very welcoming and helpful. Especially the man who worked the front desk on the night I had an allergic reaction. He was extremely helpful and kind, organising for me to visit the hospital. Rooms are very modern and clean, nice view from the top floor. 👌 Would visit again!

I had a lovely time staying here. The day of arrival, it was drizzling so my luggage was wet. One of the staff passed me a towel so I could clean my luggage - which I felt was really thoughtful of her! Also, service was really fast! Whenever I called front desk requesting for something, it’d be swiftly delivered to my room. Location wise, pretty good! Close to Nagoya station so it’s easy to get around. Even if you want to take the JR Line or Shinkansen, it’s also convenient

Excellent stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier! Special thanks to K. Ando, who was incredibly helpful when we lost our glasses on a bus—she contacted the right people and helped us find them quickly. Her professionalism and genuine care made a real difference. Highly recommend this hotel for its great service and comfortable rooms!

Just a 5 minute walk from Nagoya station via underpass network so location is unbeatable, and plenty of amenities and eateries in close vicinity. Room is on a smaller side so may be tough if you have more than one luggage, but that’s almost the case for all Japanese hotels. Comfortable clean room, collect your own toiletries from the lobby. Nice onsen in the hotel too.

Stayed in a Superior King Room on a high floor, . Although the room was rather compact, it was still comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were helpful.|The location was good and quiet, though it was somewhat confusing to find the hotel through the underground passages, especially when arriving from the Shinkansen station. Though once figured out the way, it became quite convenient. Also convenient for local tour pick-ups near Nagoya Station. A lot of restaurants, shopping malls nearby. |The onsen was pretty good. |Tried the restaurant for dinner. Set menus were great, the food was delicious, and the view was lovely. Happy hour was great value. |Overall, it was a happy stay :)

We chose because it was close to the Negoya train station and had three beds. We were happy we chose it - beautiful hotel that begins on the 18th floor so nice views of city. Comfortable beds and shower. Nice touches- like, we had “do not disturb” on the door and they brought us a bag of fresh towels and water. Also nice warm soak in spa. Would stay here again.

The lobby and breakfast is on 18th floor, the view is amazing, unfortunately when I stay there was a typhon symptom the view a lil bit shy. The size of bed is 120 x2 (twin bed) clean, smeels good. And they have refa as your room hairdryer
