The hotel is clean and convenient. We stayed four nights there. The room was good in general except it was a little noisy in the first night. The staff was very helpful especially the staff at the tour information desk. The lady at the desk was very polite, patient and helpful. She really got out of her way to help us solve the problem in booking the tour to Kamayama and Shirakawa. Her service is really excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Nagoya Tokyu Hotel. The location is excellent—close to shopping areas, restaurants, convenience stores, and public transportation, making it easy to get around Nagoya.One of the best perks was the free parking, which was very convenient for travelers with a car. We also enjoyed the lounge access, where complimentary snacks and drinks were available daily. It was a great place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring.The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and the overall experience offered great value for money. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nagoya, especially families and travelers looking for convenience and comfort.

Staff are great, but the hotel isn’t. I stayed for a week in both the standard and "exclusive" rooms. Standard Room: Old, with carpet stains and mold on joints. You get drip coffee and a firm bed. "Exclusive" Room: Cleaner, newer, with a coffee machine, better soaps, and an extra-firm bed (no comfort layer) with poor-quality pillows. Issues: Poor floor insulation means you’ll hear every step if the person above doesn't walk on their toes (which is common). The gym is only free between 6-8 AM. Other amenities cost extra to access. Video: The video I added shows housekeeping above, highlighting the poor floor insulation (set max volume to see how it was in-person). Note: housekeeping starts around 11 AM, so not much of an issue. Given the hidden fees on amenities, limited gym hours, and noise, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you do want to stay there, choose the standard room, it has a better bed.

Nagoya is more of a business city, and this hotel reflects that. It’s a large property catering primarily to business travelers, though we did see some tour groups as well.|The lobby is impressive, with a grand entrance, a pleasant café, and several retail shops. The staff were polite and helpful.|However, the rooms felt dated and worn. While spacious, the furnishings and overall condition did not match the standard of other hotels we stayed in Japan. The bathroom, in particular, was disappointing—more in line with a budget hotel, with poor lighting and aging fixtures.|We stayed here as a base for visiting Ise, which was convenient by train, but otherwise, there’s little reason to stay in this area.|Bottom line: Acceptable if you need to be in Nagoya, but not a destination hotel.

Lovely hotel; rooms are a bit dated, but very comfortable and larger than usual for Japan. Great location, a short walk to buses and Sakae Station. Tons of local restaurants in the streets behind the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Receptionist (Matsubara) was rude and made comments about me to her colleague in Japanese (not realising that I could understand every word). The standard room was dark, small and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom felt depressingly dark and was also in need of updating. Gym access is given only for a very limited time unless you are a vip guest. This hotel really needs to try harder.

Nagoya Tokyu Hotel is always my preferred choice when visiting Nagoya for business. The pool and sauna make it especially comfortable, and every staff member has been excellent. It is a very pleasant hotel, and I always look forward to staying here again.

Rooms are big. The breakfast buffet has a lot choices, both western and Japanese cuisine. There’s even ice cream for breakfast! They also showcase local Nagoya cuisine. It featured eel, chicken wings and udon for breakfast. Such a pleasant experience. The hotel is also near Sugi drugstore. It is quite far from the nearest subway station, Sakae but it is a pleasant walk anyway.

The hotel itself has several dining options: Loire for French cuisine, Nangoku Shuka for Cantonese Chinese, Nadaman for traditional Japanese, Montmartre for all-day dining, and a bakery. Just outside, Osu Shopping Street is a short walk away and offers a wide range of casual eateries and local food stalls.
