Not what we expected but for 2 nights acclimating in Nairobi before our safari it worked well. Heads up for those with mobility issues there are stairs and not elevators working to each floor.|The people working there were helpful, the breakfast included was simple but great value. The room was good.|It was a bit further from city centre than expected but taxi arranged easily.

Very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Nice coffee shop, restaurant and room service. Gym, spa and swimming pool (charges apply). East access to city centre. Few restaurants within walking distance but Bolt or Uber taxi is cheap to get anywhere. Relatively small rooms but many places to relax in the hotel. Small shop for essentials.

I had a very nice experience staying at The Heron Hotel. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and has a great atmosphere, but what really made my stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality.|A special thank you to Gasper, Dorothy, and Wesley! They were absolutely amazing so warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. Their excellent service and friendly attitude made me feel completely at home.|I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you to the team for making my stay so memorable!

It is a very peaceful and pleasant and rejuvenating place. The restaurant is very calm with excellent food and experienced waiters. The hospitality of African love is unbelievable. A special mention to the bar man Nicholas who looked after us in combination with Gasper on the food side. They were a brilliant combination of guys who did fantastically well.

We returned to The Heron after 2 months, this time with our friends to celebrate an engagement party for Mr. Kelvin. As always, we were thoroughly impressed!The service from Onesmus , the jovial Kala was absolutely exceptional. A special shout-out to Mr. Wesley for organizing an incredible surprise it was truly top-tier (from a group of schools) and absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, and the service remains the best in town.The Heron will always be a second home for our crew. Highly recommended
