​Mercure Napoli Centro Angioino was a very mixed bag for our stay in Naples. ​On the positive side, the hotel was clean and our room was a decent size. Housekeeping attended daily and did a great job—we especially loved the daily refresh of the lemon lollies in the room. The location was also very convenient, particularly for anyone needing quick and easy access to the cruise port. ​However, service and amenities left a lot to be desired: ​In-Room Amenities: Like other hotels on our trip, the room provided tea and coffee facilities, but absolutely no milk. ​The Terrace: The rooftop terrace was an okay spot to sit outside and relax with a drink, but it was a shame there was no bar service available. Even a simple QR code delivery service would make a huge difference—it felt like a massive lost opportunity. ​Bar & Welcome Drink: The bar situation was thoroughly frustrating. When we went down to redeem our Accor welcome drink voucher, there was no bartender on duty. The receptionist did her best to assist, but informed us she could only open bottles of wine and couldn't serve anything else from the bar menu, rendering the voucher essentially useless for what we wanted. The next morning we hoped to grab a coffee from the bar, only to find it completely unattended once again. ​Between the frustrating lack of bar service and the overall city experience, I doubt I would return to Naples, and I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again.

Extremely Disappointing Stay and Complete Lack of Customer Service Our experience at Mercure Napoli Angioino was completely unacceptable. We stayed in Rooms 600 and 602 for two nights, and the air conditioning in both rooms failed to cool them properly. We reported the problem during our stay and gave the hotel an opportunity to resolve it. Staff inspected the rooms, but nothing was fixed. Both rooms remained unbearably hot throughout our stay, despite the extreme summer temperatures in Naples. The situation was especially upsetting because my son developed a heat rash. Instead of being able to recover in a cool, comfortable room, he spent both nights waking up drenched in sweat and unable to rest properly. We also raised the issue directly with the hotel staff when we checked out. Our stay was almost three weeks ago, and I am still following up with the customer service team. To date, neither Mercure nor Accor has provided a meaningful response or resolution. They continue to request generic information rather than properly addressing what happened. Working air conditioning during the summer is not a luxury. It is one of the most basic services a hotel should provide. The lack of concern shown afterward has made an already disappointing experience even worse. I intend to share this experience across travel review platforms because other families, especially those traveling with children, should be aware of both the unacceptable room conditions and the complete lack of responsive customer service from Mercure and Accor.

Extremely well located hotel near the port, the city center and across the street from the metro Municipio. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. The view from the terrassse on the third floor is very nice. The rooms are a nice size, very quiet and the air conditioning works properly.The small fridge was a nice addition.

The hotel is clean and modern and located just across the street from a metro stop. Check in and check out were both friendly and efficient. The room was modern and spotlessly clean. The taps on the bathroom were, shall we say, cryptic, but they can be figured out with time and experience. The bed was firm (my preferred type) and spacious. I found it very comfortable. I liked having the small balcony with an opening door which looked down toward the docks... which was necessary because the air conditioning did nothing. I lowered the temperature. I raised the fan speed. It was still hot and uncomfortable, and the temperature didn't shift by a degree. Thankfully I was able to open the balcony door for a while to let the cold air coming off the bay in to get the temperature down to a comfortable level for sleeping. The food selection and quality at the breakfast buffet were both good, and the view from the terrace over the castle was outstanding. If you're staying there, doing a breakfast there is highly recommended. If you're looking to dine then just around the corner is the La Lazzara Trattoria e Pizzeria which serves up excellent food and is no more than a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel. There are a few other decent eateries nearby (though I would avoid the ones facing the bay, which tend to be tourist traps). I paid a supplement to have a late checkout (up to 1800), which was worthwhile. It gave me more time in Napoli (I checked out around 1530) and still got back to Roma in time to check in that evening without needing to worry about leaving my bags. Would I go there again? I would have some reluctance in summer because of the air conditioning issue, but frankly I would not want to be anywhere south of Firenze in the summer anyway. (I was at the hotel in March.) In any other case... given the location, service and quality of the rooms this would at present be my first choice in Napoli.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mercure Napoli Centro Angioino. Sara, Mary, and the entire staff were exceptional; always attentive, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and were always happy to help with anything I needed. The hotel’s location is perfect, within walking distance of the port, historic attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it an ideal base for exploring Naples. Between the outstanding service and the convenient location, my stay exceeded my expectations. Thank you to Sara, Mary, and the entire team for making my visit so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Very well located for a short break in Naples. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful, happy to advise and accommodate our requests. Decent breakfast although a bit pricey for what it is. Great View from the restaurant. Rooms on a small side.

We came here with my boyfriend for a weekend and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We have nothing to complain about. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A special thank you to Alessandra, the Front Office Manager, who handled our reservation, accommodated all of our requests and was always available to assist us before our arrival.😊 The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and cleaned every day. You can also enjoy breakfast on a stunning terrace with a wonderful view. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be happy to come back.

Highly recommended! Perfect location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace with a great view. Very friendly and helpful staff! There’s a metro station nearby, but the hotel is also ideally situated for exploring the city on foot
