I did not stay the night at this hotel, but I did go for classes for 2 days over a weekend and I must express how awesome the valet driver Zain was. He was so professional. So kind absolutely made my day every time I came into park my car. He just has a light about him. That makes him so awesome. And he is amazing. I definitely recommend valet parking at this hotel. It's amazing inside, but Zain made it even better. Stay awesome, Zain.

The room was nice and clean. The people are amazing. My issues are that valet is 48 a day plus tax. They have someone there at all times but that's not traveling realistic to me. The breakfast food is 10 to di e there and 12 to go. It's microwaved let it be free. They have a restaurant and bar. They have a sky deck.

I’m very disappointed with my stay at this Aloft Hotels location in Nashville. For a hotel located in downtown Nashville, the property looked extremely old, dirty, and outdated. The building and rooms felt worn down and poorly maintained, which is not at all what I’ve come to expect from the Aloft brand. The service experience was also very disappointing. The employees I encountered during my stay were not friendly or welcoming. The front desk staff were cold and unhelpful, and the bartender working the night of my Thursday check-in had the same attitude. Overall, the hospitality just wasn’t there. On top of that, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly. As soon as we arrived Thursday, we noticed the room wasn’t cooling. We called the front desk twice and someone came up, but all they did was reset the thermostat. The room never cooled properly for the rest of our stay. This trip was supposed to be special because we were celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations and really took away from what should have been a great trip. I travel weekly and have stayed at many Aloft properties over the past 8 years. This was by far the worst one I have experienced. I used my points for this stay and honestly feel like they were completely wasted. Very disappointing experience overall. I would not stay at this location again.

Given the local this place was priced right. Check in was easy. Wasn't expecting the $48 over night valet fee. I didn't have a chance to take advantage of all the amenities but the place seemed clean from what I did see. Room was decent and the staff was pleasant. There's plenty of stores etc. within walking distance. I would return here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is very old and run down there is a lot of stuff that is in bad condition. We paid way too much for the hotel. One day housekeeping completely forgot our room, when we asked the front desk about it the guy looked mortified. Unfortunately it was too late to get it cleaned but they immediately sent up clean towels. The air conditioner was extremely loud so every time it would kick on and run in the middle of the night you would wake up. The location was good for everything. It wasn't downtown but close enough for a $5 Lyft ride to downtown or almost anywhere we wanted to go. If they would repair and update the hotel this could be a great hotel. But I really felt like we got an unfair price for the hotel and I was very surprised and disappointed In it being a marriot property.

The room is dated with an updated mirror and shades to put lipstick on the pig. The room was musty, kept at 62 when I arrived. Cleaners folded the shower rug but didn't make the bed. This hotel is a dangerous hike to the convention center. Also there are plugs but no USB type plugs in the rooms which is pretty standard these days. It was run down/dirty enough that I checked for bed bugs and didn't see any but I have some little bites ( not typical of my reaction to bed bugs ) on my arms and hips. Take that how you will. As an avid traveler I'm not sure I would take a chance. The owners responded that they have USB ports in the rooms, I would love to see a picture of where those happen to be as I was told there were none in the room and pointed to a community charging station in the lobby. Room 219 in case you need to go and look.

This hotel is preparing for upgrades, which is necessary. It has parking at high cost. Hot water took minutes to acquire. Staff was couteous, swift to act, and showed a willingness to go beyond. The room desk became their courtesy bar, doing double duty and lost its utility as a desk. A seperate kiosk could easily be fit into the spacious room to restore desk space. Elevators are smallish. The lounge and bar was not attractive enough to be lively.

You can eat at the hotel's own Restaurant and Snack bar, plus the W XYZ® Bar for drinks and light bites. Right nearby, Valentino's Ristorante is a quick walk southwest, and San Antonio Taco Company is about half a mile away. Sitar Indian Restaurant is also listed as a nearby dining option. For a quick grab-and-go meal anytime, Re:fuel by Aloft℠ has snacks and breakfast items on site.
