Staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort was a mind-blowing experience, it is a true spectacle to see! Everything throughout the entire property was impeccably clean, which is incredibly impressive given the massive scale of the resort. We were there for an event, and the convention center is seamlessly integrated into the resort, making it very easily accessible. One quick tip for first-timers: definitely take a moment to study the map when you arrive. Because of its sheer size, it can honestly feel like a bit of a labyrinth at first! A fun surprise during our October visit was that they had already set up their Christmas theme decorations. I personally really appreciated the festive atmosphere; it looked absolutely beautiful. Beyond the stunning views and grand architecture, the catering was absolutely outstanding, the food quality at the convention was top-notch. I can highly recommend Gaylord Opryland, both as a spectacular place to stay and as a phenomenal convention venue.

Overall, the atrium garden is amazing and worth visiting. We had a blast in the Soundwave and overall, the resort looked amazing. However, I knocked down a star because on our 2nd night, the major restaurants were closed, so our options limited. The sushi menu was ridiculously limited and frankly, it's just overpriced, as were the other options. Watch the tip line on receipts, I saw a worker fill it in for the customer who walked away. The stores were hard to shop because many items were not priced and oddly enough, no merch with the hotel on keepsakes. I stayed in a Garden room not knowing I'd hear the waterfalls throughout the night and on our first morning random country music at 8am (I'm assuming to cover up construction noise?). The music was nice, I just didn't expect it and also once in the middle of the night, I'm assuming by accident due to power outage. Boat ride should be free for Bonvoy members or at least half the price? The room was clean, beds were comfortable, overall nice. It's worth doing at least once but next time I'm in town, I'll come visit the gardens for lunch.

I stayed at this hotel for 13 days in a junior suite. Beautiful place, staff is very friendly and help full, my children had a great time. It looks like There expanding. I give 3 stars only for the rooms. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. After spending close to 10k at this hotel for the room, food, amusement park etc. they really should upgrade there rooms a little. More light. I felt like I was back in the 1970’s.

Opryland Hotel is such a local gem. It is absolutely beautiful and stunning to visit, whether you decide to stay at the hotel or not. We try to visit Opryland every year. Love the indoor waterfalls in cascades section, beautiful botanical gardens in the Conservatory section, the fun delta riverboat ride in the delta area, and the Magnolia ballroom in the Magnolia wing. If you do stay the night, the staff are incredibly kind. 5 star service from everyone working at this hotel. So grateful they poured in money to save this place after the flood of 2010.

We decided to splurge on a higher-end hotel for our stay in Nashville, but unfortunately, it was not worth the price. When we arrived, the valet situation was a mess, and it remained that way throughout our stay, with waits of 20–45 minutes. Parking costs $37 per night for self-parking or $55 for valet, so we expected a much more stream lined service. Once inside, we waited another 45 minutes to check in. We arrived around 5 p.m., and there were only three people checking guests in on the side we had to use. For a hotel at this price point, that is not an okay wait time. The room itself was nice, but nothing special enough to justify the exorbitant price. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Express and had rooms that were just as nice for a fraction of the price. The gardens and waterfalls are beautiful, but how much time do you actually spend enjoying those areas? They simply weren’t enough to make up for the cost and the lack of service. We left our room to tour and do activities for the entire day. We returned at 6 pm ready to rest and get showered for dinner only to find that our room had still not been straightened up. When I called the housekeeping service they said it was a busy day. Had I not called they would have just skipped our room totally. Overall, we were disappointed. Between the parking fees, long waits, and room that didn’t feel any more special than a much less expensive hotel, this stay was definitely not worth the price tag.

I don't even know where to begin with this place. You need to see it to believe it. It's absolutely massive. The indoor atriums are spectacular. It's like a tropical rainforest with fountains and waterfalls. It's truley a sight to behold. When you finally find your room, and believe me that's a challenge, it's equally impressive. Very modern and clean. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. They have great rooms. It's surprisingly quiet for the size and activity of this place. So many dinning options and entertainment. If I had one complaint it's the cost. This place is seriously expensive. A 20oz. bottle of pop in the vending machines is $6. Restaurants are very expensive as well. Keep in mind the entire resort is cashless. You can take the shuttle over to Opry Mills mall and have excellent reasonably priced meals. This place would be a treat for a working class family due to the cost. However it should be experienced at least once. I would highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.

It's a shame that I'm not given this hotel 5 stars. The gardens and conservatories are stunning and truly unique but unfortuntely the staffing issues and poor service are not. We came for a family weekend and were not affiliated with any conference. It took about 45 minutes to check in. I was given a regular key card, not a Bonvoy Elite card. I later found out that I would have saved quite a bit of money at the Delta shops had I been made aware. It's a thing they ask you with Marriott if you "feel appreciated"as a member. I certainly did not at the Gaylord Opryland hotel. The restaurants were not especially good for the costs and took forever. The Soundwaves park had one young women overseeing the safety checks at FOUR waterslides simultaneously.
