I stayed for 4 nights as was attending a conference at the Gaylord. The good: the staff were always welcoming upon arrival and facilitated the arrival of a package for me. Beds were comfortable, room was larger than I expected. It was clear that the hotel had recently had a refresh as part of the rebrand. The not so good: I was not told cleaning was only every other day, and when it was done only included a towel change, bed was never made. The shuttle service to the Gaylord was suspended due to the driver quitting. During the hot days it’s just that bit too far to walk. Breakfast was just adequate. The staff said it had been downgraded with the new “Hyatt select” branding. Everything was heavily processed and full of sugar. The only natural thing was a banana. Coffee was from instant in a machine. I realize this is a budget hotel, my expectations were low, but they are cutting corners which is a shame.

The hallway and room smelled bad. The phone in our room wasn't working. The wifi was too weak to stream and the TV was out one of the days. We were not given clean towels... I had to chase down the cleaning guy to get some (and I never had a do not disturb sign on the door because our room didn't have one). The website said there was a pool and bar at the hotel, but there isn't. There was banging above our room all day the first day, and I was working from the room so it was super irritating. Worst of all, our truck was broken into the first night and we parked right out front of the lobby where there were lights and great visibility from the check-in desk. There were about 10 to 15 cars broken into that night - all windows completely shattered. So there is no way there was someone attending the desk and paying attention to thing - the would have heard this. The staff was aware and there was no attempt of an apology.

Unfortunately, they are doing construction on the building for our stay. However, they were more than accommodating offering a full refund if the construction was going to be an issue. The front desk said they'll be working on it through to July. Despite the construction, all amenities are still available. The room was nice. Only complaint is the light in the bathroom is a bit dim. It's a soft yellow light that might be the vibe for some people but just not for me personally. Overall, decent hotel and worth the stay.

Great location. Hotel staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were extremely tight. Rooms need to be deep cleaned due to it being pet friendly. Breakfast was ok. I liked that there was a space for kids to color and play games. It made our stay tolerable since it was nonrefundable. The pool was closed for maintenance.

First room tv didn’t work moved us to another room. Bathroom so small you had to turn sideways to shut the door. It was closet sized. Bed was nice. Breakfast bar was not good. No eggs no gravy no sausage or bacon or biscuits. Shuttle advertised to downtown area and the Opry. No shuttle and they said it hasn’t had one in a long time. No luggage carts. Faucet in our room dripped constantly

My experience personally was adequate. Nothing special but clean and able to do what I needed to do, but I know that other people in my group did not have as good an experience as I did. I had a clean room and everything worked. Others had issues with the smell of cigarettes, strange unidentified noise, tv and electrical not working. There also, no ice machines on every floor, and the one I attempted to use was out of service. no microwaves in the rooms.

Horrible. If you have already booked. Do yourself a favor and cancel. Moved to three different rooms... Given wrong rooms. Mold and rot smell, missing microwave, ironing board, soap in dispenser, lights not working. Etc. breakfast was extremely sparse. Large group in but no preparation to feed everybody and ran out of food in an hour. After group left they hadn't replenished Supplies. No butter, no fruit, no syrup for waffles. No bother to go to grocery store down the street
