What can I say? First impression very welcoming host/administrator, always spot on with answers and super fast. Location - excellent Price - just right Room / bathroom, very clean, organized and welcoming The rooftop is a marvel - i added the beer, but the view is spectacular even without The small terrace a super nice touch, everything excellent. And Nerja.... I will definitely come back

I can’t recommend this hostal highly enough. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of town and next to the bus stop, which makes it incredibly easy to find whether you’re arriving by taxi or bus. There’s a lovely little plaza right beside it with a great cafe, and it sits at the top of one of the best streets in Nerja for bars and restaurants. You’re spoiled for choice with food and drink options nearby, catering to all budgets and tastes. The facilities are exceptional for the price and feel very premium. The rooms are spotless and well equipped, with a TV, coffee machine, kettle, a spacious wardrobe with a safe, and a fully fitted, modern shower room. There’s also a roof terrace which is a real highlight, quiet, relaxing, perfect for catching the late afternoon sun, and even equipped with a shower if you want to sunbathe and cool off during the day. Check-in was super simple and the receptionist was excellent. There’s also a large public car park right next to the bus stop, costing just €1 per day, with the option to pay for a full week or two upfront, which is incredibly convenient. For the price, I genuinely don’t think there’s a better place to stay in Nerja. Thank you Charis and Ivan!

Lovely,clean,modern,bright, quiet accomodation in the old part of town about 10 mins walk to the sea and 1 minute to cafes, the laneways of cobbled streets, and also Mercadonna supermarket is 2 mins away. I texted Ana the host before arriving and she came and checked me in. The room had a kettle, large bathroom, twin beds, white sheets and towels and a tv. There are sockets beside the bed. There is also a wardrobe. Everything is light wood so the floors are so clean. I had the disabled access room which is perfect for that. The only slight issue is that the room has a window onto the street ( ground floor level) so you do need to keep the blinds closed. However if you are not inside a lot this wouldnt matter. Very safe though and a really good feel to the room and the property. There are maps at the reception desk. The roof terrace is lovely also. Really high standard here and I was a solo female traveller who felt really safe and at home here. Highly recommend.

Lovely hostel, well designed, very clean. There is a beautiful roof terrace with shower , sofas, and loungers. It’s approx a 10 minute walk to the beach from here, there is a lovely cafe located 1 minute walk away in the nearby square where everything is reasonably priced. The current owner advised us he took over a month ago and he has done a fantastic job with this place. He was welcoming and incredibly helpful. We needed the room just for a day as we had to leave our villa by 10.00 a.m but our flight wasn’t till 21.30. Karis, the owner was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hostel . (If it had more facilities like a bar or restaurant it would be deemed a boutique hotel, so don’t let the word hostel put you off, it’s not like a hostel at all) If I come to Nerja again I would want to stay here.

Hostal Aurora is a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Nerja. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants, making it super convenient for exploring the town. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great value for the location—highly recommended if you’re visiting Nerja!

A hostel it is not , so happy we found this place , it certainly impressed . After much panic we were desperate for a room to store our luggage and have a shower after a full day on the beach and before heading to the airport to go home . The room and bathroom was lovely , clean and modern, a bonus was the pretty rooftop . The lovely manager karis showed us the room and roof terrace the previous day and say we were delighted is an understatement . The Aurora is perfectly located near the beach , cab offices and a cafe 2 minute walk away .

What an absolute gem of a place, just perfect! Can't believe it's called a hostal, it's so bougie and at a great price. Clean, modern, great outside areas and a very accommodating host. Thank you so much for all your help, we really appreciate it.

Really can’t say a bad word about these apartments. So clean and refurbished to a good standard. Central enough to walk anywhere in the town but so quiet we slept better than at home. Easy entry and we found free local parking nearby. Never seen any staff but the apartments were cleaned during the day and coffee pods refilled (a nice touch). Can’t recommend enough. Thank you Ana who helped with check in information.
