On arrival at 2pm the reception was unmanned and when the receptionist came he was transactional, made no eye contact and was not welcoming. Our room was on the second floor. It’s the worst room I’ve ever had and I’ve visited some 25 countries. It was small and dark with poor lighting and very little storage other than a wardrobe. The bathroom door and frame had been refurbished with some stick on vinyl and was peeling off. It seems same technique used in other parts of the room eg gym area.|The pool is OK but rather small. Arrive early to get a sunbed and brolly.|Food is only served between 8am and 10am and 7pm until 9pm if you are on half board. Rarely used the onsite bar except for happy hour as it’s so expensive- local gin with tonic €14.40! The barman shouted at us because we stood at the bar and did not form a queue although there was no sign advising us of queue rule. Food is unfortunately poor both in quality and variety. I only found the roast chicken to be reasonable and the fish done ‘à la plancha’ - on the griddle.|We made friends with another couple on holiday and they were eating in the restaurant and they said to join us so we pushed two small tables together and the waiter had a hissy fit although we weren’t obstructing anyone. I blame Jet2 for putting us in such a poor value / quality hotel. I would rate it as a two star at best, we had much better holidays in Fuerteventura and Rhodes recently with Jet2 for the same or less money.|Beaches nearby are nice and we took a bus trip into the pretty little village of Figiliana and a day trip to Malaga where the castle and Picasso exhibitions are worth seeing

This is an excellent hotel given it’s 3 stars and about half the price of the bigger chain hotels closer to town. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are a bit on the small side but once everything stored away perfectly fine. The evening meal was varied and there were theme nights. Breakfast not to my taste but always something to eat. The hotel has a really relaxed vibe and is a great place to spend a relaxing week. Bonus happy hour 4pm to 6pm in the sports bar

We had a very enjoyable stay at Nerja Club and felt it offered excellent value for money. It's a three-star hotel, and for the price, it met with our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The pool area was a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring Nerja, and the breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options to start the day. What really stood out was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They were always happy to answer questions or assist with anything we needed, which made a real difference. The hotel is located in a quieter part of Nerja. It's around a 20-minute walk to the Balcón de Europa, which we enjoyed, but if you don't fancy walking, shared taxis are readily available and cost approximately €7–10 for up to four people, making it a quick and affordable journey. If you're looking for a lively party destination for a stag or hen weekend, this probably isn't the hotel—or the town—for you. Nerja has a much more relaxed atmosphere and is better suited to couples, families (note, no separate kids pool and no lifeguard), and anyone looking for a peaceful break or a more laid-back celebration. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Nerja Club to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and good-value base for exploring Nerja. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Nice small hotel. Room over looking pool. Sea view, just! Nice, friendly staff. Happy hour (2). For over fifties. Nice food. For the price TUI charge... excellent . WHY when england are playing do you not show in your..so called sport bar. Showing Germany against America!!!!!!! No Germans no Americans. World cup starts in two weeks, get your act together or there will be holiday cancellations. Very very disappointed

The food at the Nejra Hotel in Spain was truly an emotionally beautiful experience. Every bite touched my soul in ways I didn’t know were possible — mostly because I was desperately trying to convince myself that it was delicious. A truly unforgettable culinary journey, where my taste buds experienced a full range of emotions, including confusion, disappointment, and eventually acceptance. Absolutely delicious… if you’re emotionally prepared for it. 10/10 would pretend to enjoy it again.

A small hotel on a hill, with rooms on different levels. We knew it was about 15 minutes from the beach and without a balcony, which didn’t bother us. We were pleasantly surprised by how warm it was in April. Despite some concerns after reading negative reviews, the food, cleanliness, and staff were all top. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and a nice touch was the welcome wine left in the room.

Hotel exceeded my expectations for £65 a night for two that we paid. The hotel was continuosly cleaned. The lobby, bar, restaurant and pool with terrace was well kept and modern. The breakfast had a great selection. The view by the pool.. WOW! During my booking I mentioned it was my mums birthday treat, we arrived to cava with fruit n chocolate platter. Thankyou!!

Just got back from a three day b n b stay. Stayed in room 118. The room was a good size with patio doors leading to a garden area. Only downfall is that the walls were very thin could hear everything from both rooms at either side. I did not complain as was not there long enough and had ear plugs. The staff are lovely and friendly and always willing to help. Must say Antonio on front desk was so helpful, I was asking him places to go etc. He did me a map and advised where to go and how to get there. Nothing was to much trouble and he always had a smile on his face.
