Great location. Excellent staff. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner did what it set out to do though it did get a little repetitive. Pool excellent with ample beds as long as you don’t want the prime real estate on the front for which you need to be there at 8am. The food catered to simple British tastes and didn’t embrace spices. My only criticism is the other on site restaurant. Lovely views and staff were excellent but it hasn’t changed in three years and none of us enjoyed the main courses particularly. Would be nice to have something a bit different and “spicy” as an option.

A fabulous experience. Lovely setting. All hotel facilities spotlessly clean and very well kept. The best part was the super friendliness and help of all the staff without exception. Not enough stars to describe their high standards. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have just returned from this lovely hotel and made another reservation of which is something we have never done before. The room we were allocated was perfect with lovely views and quiet. All the staff worked very hard and seemed very happy in their job. Plenty of choice of food in the restaurant and nicely presented. All areas were spotlessly clean and pool area had plenty of chairs with easy private access to the lovely beach and walkway. Close to everything you need in and the town and lovely walk to the Balcón de Europe. Thank you Riu Monica, can’t wait to return.

Overall I loved the hotel. Good location & lovely helpful staff. Room was big, air-conditioning brilliant, pillows a bit hard & room could do with brightening up. The breakfast was overall good but evening meal was mediocre. The pool is lovely & even though people reserved beds we never failed to get one. The downside to the pool is the distance. Its a good walk & as I have reduced mobility its was a struggle as the only way to get there was stairs or 2 lifts but the 2nd lift to the pool is a fair walk from the 1st one if your not fully able. I hired a mobility scooter through the hotel & they assisted with helping with doors as you park it in the luggage room. Hairdryers are standard bathroom ones, I took my own travel one which I was glad I did. Safe is free & wardrobe & storage was good.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 40 years and more so recently. The hotel runs like clockwork. It is ideally situated overlooking the beach/sea with many bars and restaurants opposite the entrance. From walking into the foyer you sense the calmness, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. Reception is well organised; the staff are excellent - professional, helpful, friendly and welcoming. Everywhere in the hotel is very clean and tidy as are the grounds and pool area. The dining room is well managed and staffed. The menu changes daily and there is a wide variety of freshly prepared good food available to suit all. All in all I cannot fault this hotel - I have just returned from an excellent 10 day stay and will be returning in October.

Lovely hotel and location. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Rooms cleaned daily, but items missed at time, eg. No clean bath towels, but reception quick to rectify. Good location to the beach which was beneficial as unable to use pool area as so crowded and people saving beds with towels early morning then not using till afternoon. Pool and area too small for the size of hotel and disappointing. Overall a good stay and would return and recommend, but to use the beach, which is fabulous.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. Spotlessly clean everywhere! Indoor pool ( mid-March) lovely and warm. Food was plentiful and varied. Desserts, for us, we're a bit of a disappointment but a lot of other diners seemed happy with them so it's obviously a personal thing. 2 small things which I was so pleased about. In the bathroom, there was a large magnifying mirror and also a dispenser of sanitary bags. You do not find these in all hotels and certainly, for us girls, were most welcome. I find these little touches make me think that some extra bit of thought has gone into the design. I sent a request via Tui to the hotel management for a room on a particular side of the hotel and this was what we got. All in all we had a fabulous week.

Fantastic hotel. Perfectly located with easy access to beach. Rooms were lovely… everywhere was immaculately clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Only criticism was the people getting up at ridiculous hours to reserve dinners at the pool. We used the beach and paid €6 each for beds each day.
