We stayed, with friends, in two rooms on a Saturday night. We all thought it was an excellent weekend away, at the same time feeling miles away in the middle of nowhere while not really being far from anywhere. We found the pool to be a particularly welcoming addition on the afternoon we were there. There was a wedding happening at the venue on the evening we were there and we wondered if we may become a bit of an afterthought during dinner however this was far from the case. All of our meals were as good as we could have hoped for. Tasty, plentiful and reasonable value. Breakfast was again plentiful and the owner Joaquin was on hand who was attentive and helpful. Wendy the dog was making herself useful finishing any leftovers. Check-out at 12 left time for a walk around the site for a final wander up to the viewpoint. All in all we found it to be a really novel place to stay in addition to being aptly named.

Went for dinner and what an absolute delight! Firstly, the hotel is quirky and cute, built into the rock and absolutely beautiful. The views and scenery are breathtaking. The food was amazing, especially would recommend the pil pil prawns, cod and wild boar. The waiter who looked after us was very attentive and patient as we didn't speak Spanish! Would highly recommend this place

We recently stayed at Hotel Rural Los Caracoles and it was an absolutely perfect experience. Our kids instantly fell in love with our bungalow, calling it their own little "Smurf house"—it was such a charming and unique touch to our stay. The views from our private terrace were simply breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for our morning coffee and evening relaxation. While the hotel offers a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility, it is also incredibly convenient; we were able to reach the beautiful beaches of Nerja in just 30 minutes. It felt like the best of both worlds: having easy access to the coast during the day, then returning to the quiet, calm environment of the hotel to unwind. The pool area was a major highlight for our family. It was fantastic for the kids, and we spent many happy hours there together. We truly couldn't have asked for a better holiday experience. Highly recommended!

This place is very tired and has an air of neglect. Restaurant equipment and supplies are just dumped in the reception and dining area. The restaurant staff are good and work hard but there are not enough of them to look after the guests, wash glasess, checkin guests and keep the place tidy. Breakfast is a very weird experience with all food served to all tables without guests requesting it. Inevitably, there is so much food waste. A buffet would be so much easier... Dinner was good We booked for 2 nights, based on the reviews. In no way does it deserve such high ratings. Location is good though!

We had my Mums celebration of life here. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, personal and sympathetic. It was a truly wonderful experience. Only strengthened by the strawberry moon on that night, reflecting onto the view of the sea beneath the valley. Thank you Joaquin and team x

Like stepping into a fairytale village — this hotel was simply beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, but the view from the terrace was truly unforgettable. Waking up to that scenery felt magical. Very great price for what you get. Delicious breakfast, warm hospitality, and a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Frigiliana. Highly recommended for a peaceful overnight escape.

This hotel was amazing. The views from the rooms and bungalows were beautiful, and the sunrise was truly stunning. It’s a perfect hotel for couples and a great spot for a romantic stay. We really recommend staying here. The breakfast was okay for Spanish standards. We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were lovely, and we will keep great memories from this place.
