Dear Kumar, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the first transaction was only a pre-authorisation, not a charge. A pre-authorisation is a temporary amount blocked by your bank to guarantee the reservation. After payment at the hotel, this amount is automatically released. Please note that the time it takes for the funds to be released depends entirely on your bank, and some banks can take longer than others to remove the hold. If you need any assistance or supporting documentation, we will be happy to help. Kind regards, Bristol hotel team

The hotel's own Restaurant is a convenient option for dining on site. Just steps away, Resto Leopard, Restaurant Saetone, Le Circuit, Le Voyageur Nissart, and La Planxa offer a range of local and European dishes. Pharmacie Saetone is nearby, though it is a pharmacy, not a food spot. For a broader selection, the area around Place Massena and the Old Town is a short walk and full of eateries. Cours Saleya Market also offers fresh food stalls and casual bites for a quick meal.
You are right by Nice-Ville train station, which makes getting around easy. The area is practical, with the Gare Thiers tram stop about two minutes away by foot, so you can quickly connect across the city. Within a short walk you will find the city centre and the Notre-Dame Basilica, plus a handful of local eateries like Le Voyageur Nissart, La Planxa and Le Circuit for a meal nearby. The Promenade du Paillon is a pleasant 12-minute stroll, leading toward the sea and Place Masséna. It is a useful, down-to-earth base with straightforward access to the rest of Nice.
From Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, take tram line 2 and get off at Jean Médecin station, then walk about 800 metres south to the hotel, or take a short taxi or ride-hailing trip. From Nice-Ville train station, it's a 2-minute walk to the hotel, so that's the easiest arrival. The hotel is right next to the station, so you'll be settled in quickly. You can also reach the station directly from the airport by tram, making the whole journey simple and direct. Just hop on line 2 from either terminal and follow the signs to Jean Médecin for a brief onward stroll.
In the evening, you can dine at the hotel's own Restaurant or head to nearby spots like Le Voyageur Nissart, Le Circuit, or Resto Leopard, all within a short walk. The Cours Saleya Market area and the Promenade du Paillon are about a 12-minute walk, offering a pleasant evening stroll. For a longer outing, the Colline du Château is a 19-minute walk, where you can enjoy views of the city lights. These options are all within easy walking distance from the hotel, making it simple to explore after dark.
Bristol Nice is a great base for exploring Nice. The city's main sights are within easy walking distance: Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas is a 10-minute walk, Promenade du Paillon 12 minutes, and Fontaine du Soleil and Villa Masséna each 13 minutes. Colline du Château and Cascade du Château are just under 20 minutes away. Being right next to Nice-Ville train station makes day trips to places like Monaco or Cannes effortless. The beach and Promenade des Anglais are about 15 minutes on foot. This central spot puts everything within reach without needing a car.
