The hotel’s location was excellent, just steps from the promenade and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The ground-floor family room was spacious by French standards, although we did experience some issues with mosquitoes. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed due to air conditioning issues, and during our stay, we experienced intermittent electricity and A/C interruptions. However, the staff handled these challenges exceptionally well. They were accommodating, proactive, and kept us informed of our options throughout the process, which made a stressful situation much easier. The laundry service was reasonably priced and impressively quick. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel’s amenities were wonderful. What truly sets this property apart is the staff—they were consistently pleasant, attentive, and helpful. Their genuine hospitality made our stay enjoyable and reflects the quality of this wonderful hotel.

Stayed just one night for a transition to the airport. Comfortable, clean, great location - better than I could understand based on maps and never having been to Nice prior. Very warm and friendly service. I’d go back for a few days to use the beach club and enjoy the city. Docked one star for the hallway entering our particular room which was ground floor. It could use some updating and cheering up. Felt like we were on the maintenance / back of house level. The room was super cute and worked for our family, sofa bed was not set up even though it was requested and that took a little figuring out but the sheets were actually on and clean.

We had a beautiful stay at the hotel de France in Nice!! The service and staff are very friendly and never hesitated to answer any questions we had. Our room fit three guests comfortably, however the room lacked storage space. Over all, it was a great stay within a great location. Would recommend staying here.

The location is amazing! Very close to the Riviera and also a walking distance from the Train station which you can use to reach Monaco! The staff is SUPER kind and cooperative, their service is prompt and efficient. However, the rooms are tinier than we thought (we are a BIG family🤣) but good enough for a quiet but modern atmosphere. Clean place but lots of mosquitoes🥹🫣|Great experience! We will go back to it!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We booked a standard room with twin beds. The room was definitely small, but the beds were very comfortable and it worked perfectly well for the two of us. The bathroom was also quite small compared with what we’re used to in American hotels, but we managed just fine. The staff was extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast has plenty of options including eggs, pancakes, yogurt, meats, cheeses, pastries... One of our favorite spots was the terrace, where we loved relaxing in the late afternoon. The location was also fantastic — we were within easy walking distance of the beach, cafes, shops, the food market, and pharmacies. We purchased a €37 beach pass at the hotel for Blue Beach on the Promenade, which included a lounge chair/umbrella. We had a great day there. (Bring water shoes for walking on the stones and in the sea.) We also booked some fun cooking, wine and perfume classes/ tours through Viator, which made exploring the area easy and fun. The hotel arranged shuttle service to and from the airport for us which made arrival and departure very easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Myself and my friends had a lovely stay in hotel de france. A short enough walk from the old town and very close to the beach. Their housekeeping and maintenance team were especially helpful when I lost my wedding band down the bathroom sink. They came straight away and dismantled the sink to retrieve it. Thanks again to all the staff!

Great staff, so welcoming! Totally made me feel safe & comfortable. Very convenient location, I would stay here again. First night a baby cried for a long time but the room is very sound proof and had everything fit a small & affordable room. This hotel sells out so book ahead. I will restore.

This cute boutique hotel is just what we were looking for in Nice. The room was small but nicely appointed, very clean and in a quiet area. Beach towels are available to rent and umbrellas are free to borrow. The hotel is a block and a half from the beach and less than a mile from Place Masséna. Ubers and taxis can easily access the area. The true selling point is the staff. Everyone was friendly and had great suggestions for everything from where to eat to where to buy a pair of flip flops. We would stay here again.
