A huge thank you to Gwen at Hôtel Helvétique in Nice for making the final day of our Europe trip so memorable! He welcomed us warmly and went out of his way to accommodate us, making us feel comfortable and well looked after from the moment we arrived. His thoughtful recommendations for places to eat and explore helped us make the most of our time in Nice and end our trip on a wonderful note. I stayed at Hotel Helvétique in late August and it was abseloutly wonderfull. The location is perfection, and the staff was very welcoming super sweet and helpfull. The rooms had a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. My stay was amazing and I recommend this hotel to any kind of tourist to get the best possible vacation in Nice.

The hotel in my opinion is fairly rated at three stars. Staff were all very friendly to us and helpful when it was needed, the building itself is quite dated and the rooms are okay, nothing bad but nothing outstanding either. It’s in a great location right in the middle of the city which is great. For the negatives: I’m unsure if the towels were being properly washed as they had a funky smell, the bathroom was very small, and the walls are very very thin. Overall nothing big to complain about and I enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Helvétique. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made me feel immediately at home. The location was fantastic — so convenient for exploring Old Nice, with the Avenue Jean Médecin shopping area just a short walk away. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the bed was particularly comfortable after a long day of exploring. I especially loved having a balcony overlooking the street below. It was such a lovely spot to sit and take in the atmosphere of Nice. A wonderful stay, and I would happily return.

Don’t believe the high reviews here on Google Reviews…they were only given because you can spin a wheel to get free things if you leave a high review online. I saw that wheel and immediately felt duped—we regretted booking here as soon as we walked in! This hotel is a dump, plain and simple. So dirty. There were gnats flying all around the lobby water station, the whole place smells poorly, and the rooms are not the cleanest. They attempt to cover the stench by pumping essential oil misters all over the place. I did not feel comfortable even walking barefoot in the room. The front desk wanted to charge 6€ to use a beach towel. Ridiculous! The brown bath towels (gross) were stained with a dark substance. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough… avoid for sure…

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel in Nice! 🌊✨ The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of great restaurants and the port nearby. Everything was so convenient, welcoming, and enjoyable. The perfect place to stay while exploring Nice. We would absolutely stay here again! 💙🇫🇷

comfortable and memorable stay at this boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, walking distance to everything . Also great access to street and cars. Coffee and water on the house and always available. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Beds were quite comfortable.

Very great location. it is located btw central station and massena square so you can easily reach both. Amazing kind people. people all who serving here are very very kind and nice i ever seen. i will visit again for sure if i have chance to visit again. Thank you very much for your service. And rooms are clean, i can feel how much they are considering room condition. it maintained well.
