We had a great stay at the hotel. Everything was comfortable, and well organized. A special thanks to Safa, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and always happy to help. She made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

์Nice small hotel, very close to the train station. Just few minutes walk.Easy access to the city and main attraction.The hotel provides coffee machine and the cookies.Staff is very help full.

We stayed at this lo ely hotel and the staff was so friendly and smiled all the time. The room was well equipped, cleaned and overallgood (might have needed a bit of maintenance here and there around sockets and genrally little touches). They have 24h available refreshers for guests like coffee (from a machine) and cold water. They will even land you beach towels, parasol and even beach games if you need. The breakfast was ok, could use a bit improvement with the fresh pastries (we're in France after all). Very well situated with walking distance to the beaches, old town centre, shops and the train station from wich you can visit more places if you want to. Definitely recommend!!!!

The service was excellent and the staff were very kind and welcoming. We received complimentary biscuits on arrival, which were delicious, and the hospitality throughout our stay was wonderful. The room had a lovely view, although it overlooked the train station area. The hotel itself was conveniently located not far from the train station. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

I stayed at Villa Bougainville for a couple of days with my sibling and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our check-in was smooth, and they showed us the complimentary coffee machine near the reception, which also serves hot chocolate. They also provide apple juice and sparkling water, which was a nice touch after a long day of travel. The hotel is well located, about a 7–8 minute walk to the Line 1 tram and roughly 6–7 minutes to Nice Ville railway station. There’s also a Lidl supermarket conveniently located behind the hotel, about a 6–7 minute walk away. The room was comfortable and clean, and the beds were quite cozy. The bathroom was spotless, though a little small. Our room also had a small balcony, which was a nice addition, and large windows that allowed plenty of natural light. There was a compact study table near the entrance, a good-sized closet, and hooks for hanging jackets, which were thoughtful and practical touches. Overall, I really liked this hotel. It’s budget-friendly, well located, and offers great service. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Nice.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Bougainville. However, I don’t think it should be classified as a 4-star hotel. In my opinion, it’s closer to a 3-star hotel. The biggest positive was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also offers some thoughtful extras that we really appreciated. In the lobby, is a fresh water dispenser, ice and coffee, plus clean glass bottles that guests can fill and take to their room. They also provide beach towels and beach umbrellas, which was an amazing surprise. We had planned to buy an umbrella and leave it behind, so this saved us both some money. The bed was comfortable, and the location is excellent. It’s just a few minutes from Nice-Ville train station and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the restaurants, old town and the beach. Although the hotel is located on a main road, the traffic noise didn’t bother me. Maybe I just got lucky and nobody decided to honk outside while I was sleeping. We also appreciated how the staff handled an issue with our room. The air conditioning was leaking, so they moved us to another room, which actually turned out to be a nicer one. I think we were lucky they were able to accommodate us, as the hotel seemed to be almost fully booked. That said, there were a few downsides. The building is quite old. While that gives it some character, it also means you can hear pretty much everything happening in the neighbouring rooms. Some rooms, as well as the bathrooms, are also quite small. One practical issue was drying beachwear. The balconies don’t have any hooks or drying rack, so we had to improvise to hang our swimsuits and towels. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment for what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. It covered the basics: bread, eggs, cereal and so on, but very little felt fresh. The bread seemed to come straight from a bag, the scrambled eggs tasted like they were made from a pre-prepared mix, and the only fresh fruit available were a few tired-looking apples. The breakfast chairs also deserve a mention for the wrong reasons. They lean forward and genuinely feel like they’re about to collapse. The air conditioning worked, but we couldn’t adjust the temperature, only the fan. Another odd choice was the bedding. We visited during a July heatwave, yet the bed was still made with a thick duvet. There wasn’t even a top sheet underneath, so we ended up removing the duvet and sleeping with just the duvet cover. Finally, our first room didn’t have a full-length mirror. It may seem like a small detail, but I think that’s something you should expect in a 4-star hotel. I probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel to most people.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. It’s expensive for what you get and feels more like a 3 stars instead. Nothing tells me it’s a 4 stars... While the hotels right next to this one have outside blinders to make the room fully black at night, this one don’t, allowing to enter a lot of light to the room. The same for the very weak walls in between rooms. They don’t have the proper sound insulation and that’s the worst problem. I woke up several times by people making noise on other rooms, dragging chairs, hitting luggage’s etc. and the last night was pretty bad as a couple made very loud and annoying sounds while doing the luggage at 4 AM before slapping the door behind. The doors also make a super hard bang when closing and at least on my room there was a very wide gap where light, can pass through, even when fully closed! Just so you can see the gap, I’ve even made a video where I insert that non disturb card and it passes the door all the way from the exterior and lands on the interior of my room! For the AC they don’t even have a remote to control it. It’s a fixed controller panel on the wall next to the entrance door. So I woke up in the middle of the night very warm and wanted to cool the room a bit and I was forced to stand up, walked all the way to the entrance door then rotate a dial that don’t show the exact temperature (only approximate) and go to bed, let it work for 10 or 20 minutes then do the same to turn it off! There’s no timing function and it’s super annoying to use! In the breakfast room, the seating layout and furniture type could be improved, as it is super cramped and for a table with 4 seats, it normally gets only 2 people, leaving the other 2 places unusable. It happened several times that people need to pick up the breakfast here and go to eat at the tables all the way at the entrance.. not very nice experience for a 4 star hotel. Also the foldable chairs on this breakfast room are showing signs of age, by starting to bent a bit forward and pushing our butt to the front (sliding). For the good part: Everyone was very friendly. They responded fast to my emails and were polite and helpful. The hotel have a water machine where everyone can simply get filtered water to drink or to top up any bottle. And this machine even have water with bubbles if you want. They also have a coffee machine for free to use anytime of the day. That’s amazing to have an expresso or a cappuccino or something else. It was a clean hotel. I didn’t feel like it was dirty. The elevator is a bit old fashioned and small but it does the job and isn’t dirty. They kept our bags after the check out for free. The exterior of the building is beautiful but the rooms are very tight, but it works to sleep a few nights.

Great value for money. The hotel’s location is very close to the train station, which made things very convenient. The staff were attentive and helpful. There is complimentary tea and coffee available 24 hours a day, along with water, which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean, and overall we were satisfied with our stay. Hasan, who was working at the reception, was especially very helpful to us. We would also like to thank him very much.
