Good location in Chatan next to the restaurants and shopping. Men's changing area was under maintenance during our stay but they provided alternatives for the same. Room maintenance (water pressure, temperature) needed some attention but comfortable overall. Gym is basic. Good variety / options at breakfast but busy over the weekends (need to plan waiting / breakfast time accordingly).Nightwear is provided (this info is not available online).Service through the hotel is attentive and friendly..

I stayed at Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort for one night on January 20, 2026, during a trip to Okinawa with a friend. We stayed in a One-Bedroom Ocean View Suite with a king bed and balcony. One of my first impressions of the hotel was the lobby. The high ceiling, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and natural light created a very open and relaxing atmosphere. Walking into the lobby immediately made me feel like I had arrived at an Okinawan resort, and it ended up being one of my favorite spaces in the hotel. The suite was very spacious, with a separate living room and bedroom. There was plenty of room for two people to relax, and it felt more like a place where you could actually spend time during the day rather than simply return to sleep at night. The highlight of the room was the ocean-view balcony. We could step outside directly from the room and enjoy the sea and open sky. The view changed throughout the day, which made spending time in the room even more enjoyable. The sunset was especially beautiful. Sitting on the balcony and watching the evening light over the ocean was one of the most memorable moments of the stay. We also had the breakfast buffet in the morning. It was nice to choose from a variety of dishes and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before starting the day. The location is another strong point. American Village is easy to access from the hotel, so it is convenient for sightseeing, dining, and exploring the Chatan area while still enjoying a resort-style stay. We did not use the swimming pool during this visit, but between the spacious suite, balcony, and ocean views, we still had plenty of opportunities to relax at the hotel. Overall, the spacious suite, beautiful ocean view, sunset from the balcony, and impressive open lobby made this a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a relaxing Okinawa resort experience with convenient access to American Village.

I wanted to give a 5 stars rating to this establishment but bad service at the check in counter made this stay not memorable. 1) when I checked in staff had very poor English skills, it was very difficult and took long to communicate. I believe it’s unnaceptable at a Hilton hotel. 2) cheked in took a lot of time, more than 30 minutes. Main reasons were poor English from guest services, only one person taking care of guests (we were 2 in line), we had clearly booked our 3 rooms for 8 guests (6 adults and 2 children), and we were supposed to share bed with our children and nowhere at booking did tell differently, but the hotel imposed us with 2 additional beds at a very expensive price. 3) as diamond member I didn’t feel the same treatment as for example other locations like Tokyo, odaiba, Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Those locations in my humble opinion are the best in Japan, and this hotel was not at the same level. Even hotels of less category as the double tree in ariake had much better service. No upgrade, only 2 offerings of breakfast and lounge access for a party of 8, no welcome drink, etc. 4) breakfast was extremely repetitive our whole stay, only 1-2 dishes changed everyday, and were repeated the day after. 5) no one informed me that the shuttle picked us up to arrive to the hotel had to be paid directly to the driver, I thought the whole time I had to pay the hotel since they arranged it. Because of this and the poor English skills of the check-in staff that I asked about this, and never gave me a clear answer, I made the driver wait about 15 minutes. 6) we had bad weather because of typhoon Babi, and the first day we had good weather (12th July) the hotel decide to close the outside pool. good thing is that the rooms are modern, but besides that not a great Hilton property. Good hard product but regular soft product

Shuya’s service was truly exceptional. He helped us so much throughout our stay and made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. We’re very grateful for his kindness and professionalism, and we’d also like to thank all of the hotel staff for always being so patient, friendly, and attentive. Our stay at Hilton was an amazing experience, and we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort is a phenomenal hotel and one I would gladly stay at again. The biggest thing that stands out here is the level of Japanese service. The staff are professional, polite, attentive, and genuinely make you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The hospitality here feels high end and consistent throughout the stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well located right in American Village, which makes it incredibly convenient for walking to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. That location alone makes this a great place to stay, but the overall quality of the property takes it even further. The pool setup is one of the best parts of the hotel. There are three pools total: one indoor pool, one outdoor adults pool, and another large outdoor pool for kids that has a slide but is still big enough to feel like a real resort pool and not just a small children’s area. The amenities overall feel premium and well maintained, and the resort atmosphere is exactly what you want when staying in Okinawa. The breakfast here is excellent and easily one of the highlights of the stay. There is a great selection, the quality is high, and everything feels well done. The evening lounge service for executive members is also very good and adds a lot of value to the experience. There are also practical conveniences that help for longer stays, including 10 washers and 10 dryers. That said, the dryers are on the smaller side and took around 90 minutes to fully dry clothes, so that is one area that could definitely be better. The only other area that really needs improvement is the gym. For a hotel of this size and quality, it feels underwhelming. There are only 2 bikes, 5 treadmills, 1 cable machine, and 1 rack of smaller dumbbells. It works for a basic workout, but it does not match the quality of the rest of the property and could use a real upgrade. Overall, I am a big fan of this hotel. Between the outstanding service, excellent breakfast, strong executive lounge, great pool options, and prime location in American Village, this is a very easy place to enjoy. The gym and laundry setup could be improved, but the overall experience was still excellent.

I stayed here with my one year old daughter and little sister for 3 days. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We originally had booked a different hotel, but we had an incident and found this one on the same day. The staff were very welcoming and had bright smiles and good attitudes. They were considerate of my child’s allergies and responded to our questions quickly . The breakfast was very delicious and we all got full (my usually picky one year old ate a lot!) They worked hard to speak to us in English, so that we could have a stress free trip. I can’t wait to go back some day! ありがとうございます！

Very nice hotel in a great location. We had an amazing room with a very fairytale like view. I enjoyed the room with the “jungle-like” view. We stayed here during the recent typhoon and it was nice to have the lights, WiFi, and all amenities in service even though the weather was awful! The breakfast buffet was my favorite part of the stay and had a lot of options for food for everyone. The views of the ocean here from the 3rd floor are also beautiful. Staff were friendly, warm and always accommodating! They made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale, luxurious, enjoyable hotel. Also, shoutout to Togochi for my massage at the spa! It was 10/10 and one of the best massages I’ve had! My husband has Yokishimo, I believe, and he also said she was great! Both ladies were professional and exceptional at their jobs.
