Extremely disappointed by a number of hygiene and cleanliness issues during our stay at Caribe Royale Orlando. At the Calypso Bar, I ordered a large shandy and watched a member of staff take a half-drunk beer that another guest had left behind, top it up with lemonade, and serve it to me. She then walked away. I asked another member of staff to replace it and explained what I had witnessed. The new member of staff spoke to the original server, but rather than questioning or addressing what had happened, it was simply brushed over and the drink was discarded and replaced. This is completely unacceptable and a serious hygiene concern. Unfortunately, we have also had issues with housekeeping. Our bedroom has not been properly swept, with visible clumps of dust and fluff left in the corners of the room. We have found long black curly hairs on top of the beds and blue pen marks on the bed sheets. On several days, cup rings have also been left on surfaces without being wiped away. This is not the standard of cleanliness I would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Our room safe also wasn’t working when we arrived. However, after speaking to reception, someone was sent out promptly to repair it, so I do appreciate the quick response to that issue. Additionally, we were extremely concerned to find the lifeguard asleep while on duty at the top of the slide. This raises serious questions about poolside safety and supervision, which should never be compromised. We had actually been considering returning to Caribe Royale for my 40th birthday, but unfortunately, after this experience, we are now having serious doubts about doing so. We have otherwise enjoyed the hotel, which makes these issues particularly disappointing. I hope management will take our concerns seriously and use this opportunity to put things right.

The hotel was beautiful. We went two days after Christmas and all the decorations were still up. It was gorgeous. Then we went to Animal Kingdom and we really enjoyed the Safari. Last but definitely not least we went to the Rain Forest Cafe at Disney Springs. It was awesome.

It has taken me about a month to write this review because I really wanted to love Caribe Royale Orlando. We were celebrating my granddaughter’s fifth birthday, my grandchildren enjoyed the resort, and we were grateful to be in Florida making family memories. Those happy moments deserve acknowledgment—but so do the problems. The property is beautiful, the family amenities are thoughtfully planned, and the pool is the heart of the fun. The hot tub and convenient location were highlights, too. However, there were real cracks beneath the beautiful aesthetics. We initially stayed in a two-bedroom villa in Building 7. It felt dated, the carpet was visibly dirty, the garbage disposal did not work, and the space smelled very damp. We went out and purchased Lysol and a moisture-absorbing product to try to make it more comfortable. That should not be on a guest’s vacation shopping list. There was also excrement left in the primary bathroom toilet when we arrived. It took more than two hours and a second phone call before someone came to clean it. Later, while I was showering, my mother saw an unidentified animal inside her bedroom. We ended up relocating after the first night from the two-bedroom villa to a smaller suite. Given these issues and the change in accommodations, we expected a price adjustment or some gesture acknowledging the inconvenience. No compensation was offered—not even covering parking. Checkout brought more frustration. We had questions about the room-price difference and the balance we expected back after incidental charges. The front desk gave an explanation involving our third-party booking, but it was not clear to us and did not resolve our concerns. No manager was brought over to help. We left feeling unheard. The food and drinks we tried were not a highlight, either. My apple martini was nothing to write home about. I can appreciate the wonderful time my grandchildren had and still be honest about where the resort fell short. A beautiful pool does not replace a clean, well-maintained room or attentive service when things go wrong. Auntie D’s rating: Three out of five forks. 🍴🍴🍴 Beautiful family memories—but the guest experience needs to match the scenery.

Christian at the front desk was incredible. Everyone we encountered was nice, kind especially Christian at the front desk. We spent a long week working and finally got to enjoy the pool on our check out date. Convention center is a short walk away which was very convenient for attending conferences for 6 days straight. Location is also great- they have free shuttle services up front where you reserve your spot on the bus to get to Disney theme parks and Disney springs. Food at tropicale was great. Food at stadium club was great as well- get the royale cheeseburger with the onion jam! Delicious! The market was very convenient as well and workers there were so nice. Huge Pool and two jacuzzis all of which were great. It’s very family and couple friendly. They have a cool 1.5 mile trail around the hotel as well. Highly recommend this hotel for work conferences and or the Disney and resort experience! We will be back for the resort and Disney theme parks!

Had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for a Work conference. The resort area was beautiful. The rooms were clean, spacious and nice. The conference area was top-tier. The food was delicious at all locations. And although I did not pay for the rooms myself, they seem to be very decently priced for the value you get! A bit farther from the amusement parks than other locations but overall, it was a great place to stay.

We went to a conference at the resort. The conference space was good and the conference staff took good care of us. The room we had was a suite and we were very happy with it. The breakfast buffet was good and included a lot of options including eggs too order. The pool had a big slide and waterfall. If we had time I would have loved to take a dip. The gym was two floors and seemed to be well used. They had a Disney shuttle and the staff were friendly. Very good experience!

Stayed here 4 nights. The hotel itself if ok for what I paid. it’s been renovated. I’m taking away 3 stars because the staff running the hotel were not very helpful unfortunately. Additionally, the hidden fees are absolutely brutal even after you have paid and booked your room. 38 bucks for parking per night additionally, parking sales tax (what the heck is even that), leisure hotel fee, hotel fee sales tax, hotel fee occupancy tax and more per night! This was just a money grab. Additionally, They charge you a deposit and they will make sure to keep your deposit. I paid almost $400. I was not happy with the sneaky charges and will not be returning unless some justice has been delivered. I’ve attached the charges for the night I was there. Judge for yourself, but I personally absolutely do not recommend.

Came here for the weekend with my family as a “staycation”. We have had a blast. We checked in a little early and were offered a room on the 10th floor. The room is very nice, clean, and spacious. We spent the afternoon down by the pool where our kids enjoyed the kiddie pool, playground, and waterslide. For dinner, we went to the Stadium Club which was quite family friendly if not a little loud. But hey, what do you expect from a sports bar? The prices may appear a bit high, but the portions more than makes it worth the money. My husband and I both had the Asian chicken salad and they were huge! We could have shared one! We had the pretzel as an appetizer and it was also massive! The four of us ate from it and still we had leftovers! Highly recommend the margaritas and the cheesecake. You’ll thank me later.
