I stayed late May 2026 to go to Epic Universe for the weekend. I reserved the room maybe 3-4 days beforehand and the price was still super affordable. I think only around $230 (for Friday-Sunday) which is great considering all of the other expensive hotels nearby. Especially for a last minute booking. On arrival, I checked in at the front desk which was such a smooth process. They gave me two warm chocolate chip cookies which was great. The room was so spacious along with the bathroom. Both were very clean. The hotel has a free shuttle to the parks and for Epic Universe, their earliest shuttle is 715am which is the one I took. You will need to get on the shuttle list beforehand but I did not know that but they still let me on since there was more than enough space at that time. It was only about 10 mins from Epic Universe. I genuinely have no complaints.

Second time staying at this hotel. We like it cause it is very close to Universal. 15-20min walk to CityWalk. We the walk everyday, to and from and went to HHN, so the walk at 1am wasn’t bad or scary either. That said, the hotel is also pretty nice. Our room has always been clean, and the beds are comfortable. Pillows too, plenty of them and there is a mix of soft and firm, so it seems anyway. Front desk staff were all very nice and so was the employee in the little store. Store prices are a bit high though. We rated on the 16th floor and had a nice view of the surroundings and even saw the fireworks from Epic. We like this as a close, often times much cheaper alternative to staying at Universal and will stay here again, for sure.

We had a great experience at this Double Tree, starting at check in. Manny was very friendly. The following morning we ate breakfast at the sunshine Cafe, where Vinh provided the most amazing service. It was our son's birthday and Vinh really went out of his way to ensure our son started his celebration on the right foot. The entrance to both universal studios and Island of adventure are within walking distance, which made it very convenient for us. Plenty of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the pool, and there are plenty of entertainment options for all ages. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not a luxury hotel, but has all the basic amenities for travelers. We will definitely book here again.

I love staying at this hotel! The convenience and price are hard to beat, especially when visiting Universal Studios or Halloween Horror Nights. Being able to walk to the parks using the pedestrian bridge is HUGE! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view overlooking Universal. Everyone at the front desk during check-in was absolutely fantastic! So friendly and welcoming. After a long day at the parks, it’s wonderful being able to walk back to the hotel without dealing with traffic or parking. The rates have always been reasonable in my experience, especially for such a great location. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay when visiting Universal!

Location is indeed across from Universal but it’s still a 20 minute walk to City Walk. In the heat or with bags it can be a long walk. Luckily there is a pedestrian bridge for the single major intersection. The “partner hotel shuttle” must be reserved the day before (mornings) and is mostly convenient. No reservation is needed for the return trips, but they tend to start around 5:30p so there a “dead zone” between about 1p to 5:30p when you’d need to catch an Uber if you want to get back to the hotel. The buses are easy to figure out. Drivers are friendly except one morning driver to Epic who gave a lengthy and prickly speech before letting us on his bus. Room was dated but was great for what I needed. It has bottled water, coffee maker and a fridge. Front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful, only had a couple interactions where I felt like the staffer didn’t want to be bothered and seemed put out to be talking to a guest. This happened with Patricia (?) when I politely asked about late check out. Grounds are ok, plenty of seating. But all of the cushions are stained, even the indoor ones. They have a coffee shop, cafe, food truck, ice cream shop, restaurant and more, but they seem to have mysterious hours. Staff in the coffee shop and restaurant were excellent. Note in the main restaurant they automatically add gratuity to your bill.

Great location, we came here for HHN. Check in was easy and Kaina at the front was very friendly and extremely welcoming! We had 3 rooms and she made check in a breeze for us. She made sure we were all accommodated on the same floor and we even got an unexpected upgrade that we really appreciated! Rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfy. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 3 nights for our visit to universal studio, overall decent stay. Building was bit old but clean so that was fine. Shuttle bus back to hotel was too early- before universal studios close so bit of a shame
