We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress! Our room was very comfortable, the beds were great, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean. We were welcomed with champagne and bottled water at check-in, which was a lovely touch! Complimentary water was also available each day, although you did have to stop by the front desk to request it. The hotel was bustling with activity during our stay, possibly due to conferences or other events, which made the restaurants quite busy at times. We occasionally had to wait up to 30 minutes for a table, but the staff took our phone number so we could enjoy a walk around the beautiful property while waiting. The service throughout our stay was excellent! The location is also very convenient for visiting Disney and Universal, both a relatively short drive away. Just keep in mind that Orlando traffic can be pretty heavy, so travel times can vary quite a bit depending on the time of day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

This is a huge lovely resort with nice pools, walkways, and the lobby is stunning. The beds soft and comfy and the team was knowledgable and gave 5 star service.

If this place had decent pillows and bedding we'd probably stay here often. The pool is lovely, but extremely noisy because of the waterfalls. The cave hot tub is great, but has the same noise problem. The room was really nice and the shower was exceptional. If they would turn off a few of the pool waterfalls (maybe three of them), and replace the pitiful wafer pillows and skimpy bedding, this place would really be just about perfect. Also, they need to police better the kids jumping off the rocks and using the hot tub unchaperoned.

I thought this hotel was excellent overall. The room was well furnished, clean, and comfortable. The beds were good. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and added to the resort like atmosphere. Parking is a bit expensive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool area. The pools were fantastic, and we especially loved the cave connecting two of them. It was a unique feature that made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the property was well maintained and offered a great place to relax and unwind.

My husband and I stayed here for a little weekend vacation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are a little on the older side, but the bathroom was very nice and spacious, with plenty of room for getting ready. We appreciated the proximity to Disney Springs, Starbucks, shopping, etc. I wanted to give a special shoutout to the valet parking staff who were absolutely lovely! There are self parking options as well, but the difference is only like $10 so we opted for valet. It was very convenient for us to just text the number and come down to our car waiting for us. We enjoyed the resort amenities like the pool, gym, and basketball courts. Didn’t get a chance to go on the biking trail which was a shame! The gym is HUGE with plenty of strength and cardio equipment for a great workout. We also ate at the Lakehouse for breakfast, hotel lobby bar, and the poolside bar. Overall, we actually really liked the food and cocktails at the lobby bar the most. I will write a separate review of the Lakehouse breakfast, but overall we were unimpressed with that one. Not worth it for breakfast. The hotel also has a resident lobby ambassador, Merlot! We loved watching him! We may eventually be back, but we have other Orlando resorts on our list to try out first. In terms of value for the price, hotel amenities, and service I would give this hotel a solid 4/5.

We are currently a day into our stay after leaving the Omni. a couple miles south of here in Champions Gate, and we wish we could go back. The facility itself is beautiful and the location is great. But don’t be fooled, this is ABSOLUTLY NOT A KID FRIENDLY HOTEL. Kids can’t use half the stuff out by the pool. There are more rules then a Catholic school field trip and a staff of rude Karens enforcing them. The staff just acts like you are in inconvenience to them. I don’t mind spending money splurging on vacations, but you are nickel and dimed here for absolutely everything. Internet usage. “Unreturned” pool towels. Order an $18 burger by the pool and somehow the bill comes back at $27. Really a shame for how nice the facility is and how inviting it looks. Probably better for a couple stay than a family vacation.

I stayed there on business and would highly recommend the hotel! The rooms were clean with comfy bed, well stocked with variety of teas and coffee, in-room mini fridge; the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the grounds were well maintained and gorgeous. The shuttle to all the parks is available from the hotel, multiple times per day, ask and register beforehand to reserve your seat.
