Had a lovely stay here! There was no AC which was a little difficult due to it being 90 degrees the couple of days we were there but the room had two fans and a wide window which was helpful! The big tourist attractions like the Lourve, Monmarte, and the Eiffel Tower were all within an hour walking distance and there’s a ton of cafes and restaurants nearby. I’d stay here again :)

The location of the hotel is excellent and very central. Unfortunately, our experience with the hotel itself was extremely disappointing. Although we paid for a city-view room, we were given a room that faced a narrow empty space and had no view at all. To make matters worse, the room was located above a restaurant, and there was a strong food smell coming from below. Because of the odor, keeping the window open was not an option. Even if we wanted to open it, sleeping with the window open felt impossible due to concerns about insects or even rodents potentially entering from the area below. The room was advertised for three guests and had three beds, but it was so small that once we placed our luggage inside, there was barely any space left to walk. Both the bedroom and bathroom windows faced the same enclosed area, making them practically unusable. This was by far the most frustrating and unpleasant part of our five-day vacation. The staff at the reception were unfriendly and showed very little interest in helping guests. During the hot days of our stay, there was no proper air-conditioning system, making the hotel even more uncomfortable. The hotel itself is outdated, with very narrow hallways, old carpeting, and poor overall cleanliness. Housekeeping consisted mainly of changing towels; the room was not properly cleaned during our five-day stay.

This hotel has a great location; everything is easily accessed from the nearby M7 Cadet metro station. The rooms are a bit dated but kept clean. Nice hot showers. The staff were helpful and the hotel and breakfast were both good value. The neighborhood was a bit noisy at night.

Excellent location as it is just less than a few mins walk to the Metro line 7 station Cadet. But the hotel and the rooms are quite old interior. The toilet size is acceptable considering most hotels in Paris are super small.

We spent the worst night of our lives at that accommodation; we barely slept two hours because the heat and the cramped room made the night miserable. There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel just a tiny fan that blows hot air instead of cool air. My daughter almost became dehydrated and didn't sleep at all, so we decided to leave the next day; although we had planned to stay for four nights, we could only stand one. On top of that, the rooms were old and outdated.

The room was small and the sheets were not clean the breakfast was bad we stayed there for 3 nights and when we checked out they asked us 24 € more because of safe and tax and I’ve never seen sth like that 😰

I had a good stay at the hotel Havane Opera. Easy to locate, rather friendly staff - and Clèment was absolutely the epitome of servicable angel. My room, single room was ok, but no air condition. The window opened to the backyard - so not much movement in the air. It got somewhat warm and stuffy in the room - even in March. The shower had surprisingly good water pressure, and the towels were fluffy and soft. Hotel was also helpful with calling for a taxi for me, as I was going to a concert. WiFi must be bought, but it wasn't an issue for me anyways. Very central, just downside Rue de LaFayette, rather close to Gare du Nord and a very sweet little green area, Parc Montholon. Also both pharmacie and grocery shop almost next to the hotel.

We had issues unlocking our room with the key, and a senior member of staff/ manager immediately blamed us for “messing with the lock,” even though the cleaning staff come in every day when we go out so they were the last people in the room. Their tone was condescending and we were spoken to as if we were children, which was completely unnecessary. To make things even stranger, the staff took our key and kept it at reception without explaining why. Only later did we find out—by chance—that we were expected to return the key every time we left the hotel. This was never mentioned at check‑in, which caused even more confusion. The room itself was outdated, the Wi‑Fi barely worked, and overall the facilities felt neglected. The only real positive was the location, which was convenient for getting around.
