We stayed here in July 2026 during the heat wave and the air conditioning was so great (note, use both controls in the room). We also appreciated having a fridge in the room for cold drinks. We booked the junior suite as we were travelling with our daughter and it was the perfect amount of separation in a hotel room. The room was clean and well stocked, the hotel was lovely and the employees were also friendly and welcome. Location is perfect as you can walk right to the main streets and attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a lovely find! Welcoming friendly staff, perfect location to walk everywhere but also quiet! Loved the decor and came with a friend we had 2 single rooms, small but perfectly formed with everything you need and a great shower. Excellent Aircon but could also open the windows if it wasn’t needed. Highly recommend.

Our duplex room was so fun and interesting. I loved the layout. The sleeping space was small, but a completely normal size for your average hotel room in France. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The air-conditioning was amazing. It was very warm in France two weeks ago and the AC was a godsend. The cleanliness is what bothered me. Our covered seating in the room was badly stained. The room showed a lot of wear…to the point where you questioned the cleanliness. The bathroom had even more wear. A lot of soap scum on the tile, stains on the walls, and sink, etc. I purposely left hair on the toilet and floor to see if it would be there after the room was serviced, and unfortunately, it was still there after housekeeping visited. I was disappointed at the lack of cleaning. Our friends’ room still had trash in the room from previous guests. I can’t look past those things. The hotel design was so quirky and fun and I’m a huge fan of Lacroix, so I was really excited to stay there. And, Annie at the front desk was AMAZING! We adored her. She was so helpful and kind. She’s a great asset! It was fun, but I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Title: A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Paris ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel du Continent and would happily return on our next visit to Paris. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Upon arrival, the front desk kindly gave us the choice between a room with a balcony or one without, allowing us to pick the option that best suited our family. That level of flexibility was a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the rest of our stay. After an overnight flight, we were especially grateful that the hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in. Being able to settle into our room and refresh before exploring the city made a world of difference. Our trip to Paris was part of a much larger international move, so we were traveling with more luggage than usual. The staff was incredibly accommodating and flexible with storing our extra bags both before and after our stay, which took so much stress out of our travels. Their willingness to help with the logistics of our move was truly appreciated. The location is another major highlight. It’s within easy walking distance of the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre, Place Vendôme, and countless cafés, shops, and metro stations. We found ourselves walking almost everywhere, making it the perfect home base for exploring Paris. Throughout our stay, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. Every interaction left us feeling genuinely cared for, and the personalized service made our experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a charming boutique hotel with an outstanding location and a team that goes above and beyond for its guests, Hôtel du Continent is an excellent choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning on our next trip to Paris.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Hotel du Continent. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available at the front desk whenever we needed assistance. The rooms were very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The location is excellent and made it very easy to explore Paris. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay here again

Perfect location, super nice front desk staff, very clean room - was the perfect size for one person. It stayed cool despite the heatwave, and they had a little mini fridge. Bathroom was huge with a walk in shower and well stocked. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something that’s walkable to everywhere!

We booked that hotel because of the location; the staff is friendly and helpful, the room itself is spacious (we booked a junior suite), and our room was quiet as well. Aircon was working well, however the bathroom is very small mainly because it includes the toilet in it..we had an issue with our coffee machine, it was out of order for 2 days (3 days stay..), but the staff offered us free coffee from their bar and even free breakfast to compensate.

For a proper meal, the neighborhood is full of excellent restaurants, and you can also try local delicatessens like Mille Pâtes, a 15-minute walk away, for fresh pasta and Italian dishes. Foie Gras Luxe and Comptoir de la Gastronomie, both on Rue Montmartre, offer gourmet charcuterie and foie gras, with the latter also having a restaurant. These spots are great for a casual lunch or takeaway. For more options, the area around Place Vendôme and Rue Saint-Honoré is packed with fine restaurants and tea rooms.
