For a slightly longer stroll, Candelaria is 3 minutes away. The neighborhood is packed with options, so you can also wander toward Rue de Bretagne or the streets around Place de la République for more casual spots. A short walk brings you to classic falafel places on Rue des Rosiers, like L’As du Falafel, if you want a quick bite. Just follow the locals and you will find plenty of good food nearby.
You are in the heart of Le Marais, a historic district with narrow streets and classic Parisian architecture. The apartment sits on Rue Charlot, a short walk from the lively Marché des Enfants Rouges, a covered market with food stalls. Grands Boulevards, Place de la République, and Canal Saint-Martin are all within a 9-minute walk, offering shops, cafés, and a canal-side atmosphere. Rue de Rivoli, with its arcades and shopping, is also about 9 minutes away. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and Filles du Calvaire metro station is a 6-minute walk for getting further afield.
From Orly Airport, take the OrlyVal and RER B to Châtelet-Les Halles, then metro line 1 to Saint-Paul, about 48 minutes total. From Charles de Gaulle, take RER B to Châtelet-Les Halles, then metro line 1 to Saint-Paul, roughly 45 minutes. From Gare du Nord, take RER B to Châtelet-Les Halles and transfer to metro line 1 for Saint-Paul, about 19 minutes. The hotel is a 16-minute walk from Châtelet-Les Halles Station, or a 6-minute walk from Filles du Calvaire Station. A taxi or ride-hailing service from Orly takes about 40 minutes by car.
In the evening, you can start with a drink at Candelaria, a cocktail bar just a 3-minute walk away, or enjoy a bite at Café Charlot, Les Enfants du Marché, or Chez Alain Miam Miam, all within a minute's walk. For a relaxed stroll, Canal Saint-Martin is a 9-minute walk, and Place de la République is 7 minutes away, both pleasant for an evening wander. If you want a show or a lively scene, the Grands Boulevards area, a 6-minute walk, has theaters and cafes. The Louvre Museum, a 23-minute walk, is also open late on certain evenings, offering a cultural option. For a classic Parisian evening, a Seine river dinner cruise is a popular choice, though you'd need to travel a bit from the hotel.
