I stayed at this property from September 22 to September 23, 2026. What happened on the morning of September 23 was one of the most disturbing experiences I have ever had at a hotel. At approximately 11:25 AM, a male staff member attempted to enter my room. I clearly told him that I was undressed and told him NOT to enter. He responded that he could enter anyway, opened the door, and put his head inside the room while I was standing there without clothes on. I was shocked and felt completely violated. He then told me he was kicking me out because checkout was supposedly at 11:00 AM. However, my booking confirmation stated that checkout was at 12:00 PM. Despite this, I gathered my belongings immediately and was completely out of the hotel by approximately 11:32 AM. Unfortunately, it did not end when I left the property. The same man followed me outside onto the street and continued confronting and harassing me even though I refused to engage with him. At one point, he told me that I could not go to the police because “this is Paris, not your country.” He then suddenly offered me €1,000. I refused the money and continued trying to disengage. Even after I had left the hotel, he continued insulting me and called me a “bitch.” All of this began over a dispute about checkout time. The most serious issue for me is not the checkout disagreement. It is that a male staff member entered my room after I explicitly told him I was undressed and told him not to enter, and then continued following and confronting me after I had already left the property. I considered the incident serious enough that I went to a police station to make a report. I have documentation relating to my reservation and the incident and will add relevant photos/documentation where permitted. I am sharing this especially for women and solo female travelers. Based on my personal experience, I did not feel safe at this property. No guest should have to worry about a staff member entering their room while they are undressed after explicitly being told not to enter. Please be extremely careful when considering this hotel.

It was the worst booking in my life , I have never seen worldwide a room with open bathroom facing the bed. Careful once booking , because the picture was not showing the bathroom , just the bed was showing in the room details . The lift so tinny The front desk lady was not cooperative . We refused to stay in , they refused to cancel my 5 days pre-paid booking , and they did not refund my money. It was very bad experience

Even before we arrived, I exchanged emails with the hotel and was always promptly answered as to my requests and questions. When we got to Paris early in the morning after a sleepless overnight flight from Detroit, we were allowed to check in at 11 a.m. - long before regular check-in time. It was a life-saver for two exhausted people. The desk staff were unfailingly pleasant, arranged for us to have two wine glasses for the bottle we'd bought to have in our room, arranged a car to the airport for our early morning departure. Smiles always. The room was cleaned each day and the cleaning staff very polite when we saw them. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Stella Etoile for helping to make our trip memorable. The room was exceptionally quiet at night. You could hear people in the hallway by the elevator, but except for that, the silence was perfect for a good night's sleep (or afternoon nap after walking through Paris all morning and needing a bit of energy for the rest of the day and evening!) The location was a one-minute walk to the Metro station, which took us wherever we needed to go. The balcony, though small, was perfect for sitting and enjoying a morning coffee or after dinner glass of wine while looking at the Arc Du Triomphe, literally only a block away. Side note: I would suggest purchasing the physical Navigo cards as we found them the easiest to use when in a hurry as opposed to taking out your phone to scan at a rushed station turnstile.

Very helpful and nice Front Desk people. We did not breakfast at this hotel. I wish cleaning ladies would clean the floor together with everything else in the room. Room self has been very dark, cave vibes. Once you opened windows in the morning the whole vibe changed 😁 Love, love the location of this hotel. Metro is literally right next to hotel, bakery, cafes and Triumphs arch is 1 minute walk from hotel. Eiffel Tower and Triumphs Arche visible from the window.

Loved this hotel so much! The staff were very friendly and helpful and had adapters as I had forgotten mine. I also had a great view of the arc de triomphe and a balcony which was super lovely. The area also felt very safe as a solo traveler and was close to the metro station which was very nice as well. The air conditioning was also very good and helpful as one of the days I was there temperatures reached 90+ Fahrenheit. I would definitely recommend and come back!

For a 3 star hotel in Paris is more than decent and well located. Clean rooms, beds ok. It’s not overwhelming but it’s a faire service and that’s what counts more sometimes. It can be overpriced in some seasons due to different events but that’s Paris.

I can’t express how happy I was with my stay at Hôtel Stella Etoile. From the moment I walked in, Mounia was welcoming, helpful and funny, which was just what I needed after a long flight! The hotel’s location is close to a metro stop that make it very easy to navigate the city. It’s also very close to the Arc de Triompe if you enjoy walking along the Champs Élysées. I look forward to another Paris adventure at this hotel!

This was my first time visiting Paris and I’m so happy with this hotel! The location is superb as it’s close to the Arc de Triomphe and has a Metro entrance nearby too. Staff, especially Mounia, were very warm, welcoming and provided excellent customer service and recommendations. Loved having a balcony and view of the Arc. Equally important is that the rooms are clean and have air conditioning.
