We had a wonderful stay at Cape Dara Resort Pattaya. The staff, especially at the reception desk, were very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast spread was very lavish and highly recommended, with plenty of options to enjoy. The hotel is also conveniently located in the center of Pattaya, yet it still feels peaceful, relaxing, and not crowded. You can even walk to Terminal 21 Mall, though I would not recommend walking back after shopping. 😅 Cape Dara is definitely one of my top choices for hotels in Pattaya. They also have multiple pools on different levels, which we wished we could have enjoyed more, but unfortunately missed due to our hectic schedule. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would be happy to come back.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It really is special, a bit of quiet away from the busy city. The lounge area and pools are truly stunning and excellent service at the pool bars. We had a beautiful room with a terrace at the side, the view was stunning and also had a small area overlooking the city and beach. We ate at both of the restaurants, the Chinese restaurant and thai one. Wow, the food was so good. The little bakery was also very good for cakes and drinks. The whole experience was first class, every member of staff was so sweet and polite. Highly recommend this hotel for everythung.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days. Our two families checked in late at night, and the front desk staff gave us a very thorough introduction to the hotel's facilities. Throughout these 7 days, every member of the hotel staff provided our family with exceptionally satisfying service. On the third day of our stay, when our family went to the restaurant for breakfast, the restaurant staff already remembered us—which was a very heartwarming touch. Own at the reception was extremely friendly and kind. Van (the noodle station chef) and Bank (the egg station chef) provided wonderful service. When my family and I accidentally dropped some food on the floor, they noticed immediately and came to help right away. The shuttle bus drivers were also very warm and welcoming, and the housekeeping staff who cleaned our rooms were wonderful as well. However, there is one hotel facility that needs improvement: the swimming pool. Because the pool has many steps, both I and members of my family slipped and fell on them. We sincerely hope this area can be improved. Overall, our experience was wonderful. If I were to recommend a hotel to my friends, I would definitely recommend yours. Since my family and I have stayed here many times, every trip has been a pleasant one.

I recently stayed at Cape Dara Pattaya and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a beautiful location with great sea views, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The food was acceptable and there was a decent variety available, although I felt there was room for improvement in terms of quality and selection. The biggest area that could use attention is the guest rooms. While the room was comfortable, some parts appeared quite dated and showed signs of wear and tear. A deeper cleaning and some refurbishment would greatly enhance the overall guest experience and better reflect the hotel's premium image.Despite these points, I was generally satisfied with my stay. The atmosphere, location, and service helped make the visit enjoyable. With some updates to the rooms and improved maintenance, Cape Dara Pattaya could provide an even better experience for future guests.

We spent one night in a Corner Sea View Room, and it was such a relaxing stay. The room was spacious for this room type, and I really liked the colors and overall design—it made the room feel very cozy and comfortable.|The staff at check-in were so lovely and welcoming, which made a great first impression.|The beach was a little too rough and rocky, so it wasn’t really ideal for digging and playing with kids. However, the swimming pool was great and being open until late was very convenient, especially with kids.|The location is also a big plus. It’s easy to walk to Terminal 21 and even to 7-Eleven, which makes everything very convenient.|Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. I also ordered a special curry set that was recommended by one of the staff members, and it was absolutely delightful.|Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at Cape Dara. A relaxing place with a great location, lovely room, and wonderful staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Dara Resort Pattaya. One of the things we loved most was the resort's direct access to the beach, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and relax by the shore. The complimentary shuttle service to Dolphin Roundabout was also a great convenience, especially for exploring the nearby cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas without needing a taxi. The pools were fantastic, and both Twinkle and Walala offered beautiful sea views. They were the perfect spots to unwind with a drink while watching the ocean. A special thank you to The Radius Restaurant for reserving such a wonderful table for us during sunset. The view was absolutely breathtaking and made our dining experience even more memorable. Our corner room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a stunning panoramic sea view. We were also pleasantly surprised when housekeeping created a lovely pair of elephant towels on our bed—it was such a thoughtful touch that brought a smile to our faces. Overall, the service was warm and attentive, the facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily return to Cape Dara Resort on our next visit to Pattaya.

The property’s strongest aspect is clearly its F&B operation, to the point where it could genuinely serve as the hotel’s primary selling point. The food quality was surprisingly consistent across all cuisines — Thai, Chinese, Western, and Fusion — without the typical pattern of having only a few standout dishes while the rest feel average. Beverage quality was also well executed. Overall, this reflects a kitchen team and back-of-house operation with notably strong standards and consistency. The hotel itself is relatively dated, though it still benefits from a peaceful atmosphere and pleasant views, which contribute positively to the overall stay experience. However, the main weakness lies in the front service operation and overall service culture, which fall noticeably below the expected standard for this price range. More importantly, several incidents felt less like isolated mistakes and more like symptoms of insufficient training and inconsistent service standards. Issues began at reception, where communication was unclear and the welcoming manner lacked the professionalism expected in hospitality. Restaurant staff were unable to explain basic information confidently, and beverage promotions were communicated incompletely from the beginning, creating unnecessary confusion. There was also an instance where the bill amount was changed afterward due to an omitted item, yet no proactive explanation was given to the guest before adjusting the total — a small detail, but one that directly impacts trust and guest confidence. Additionally, several smaller interactions reflected weak hospitality awareness. Staff moved chairs around the dining table area without first acknowledging or asking permission from guests, and at one point, a staff member used the guest beverage station to fill a personal water container directly in front of guests. While these may appear minor individually, details like these significantly shape the perception of professionalism in hotel operations. Overall, the property demonstrates stronger hardware and kitchen capability than service execution. With more structured staff training, supervision, and stronger front-of-house service standards, the guest experience could improve substantially.

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Dara. The staff and service were exceptional throughout our visit. A special thanks to the manager, Tai, who went above and beyond to make our daughter's birthday truly special. The entire team put in so much effort to create a memorable celebration, and their kindness and attention to detail made our day unforgettable. Their hospitality was priceless, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they did. I would highly recommend Cape Dara to anyone looking for outstanding service and a memorable experience.
