I was very positively impressed by the Sunway Hotel—not only by the room and hotel facilities, but especially by the quality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive, clearly showing—through their expressions—the genuine pleasure they took in their work and in interacting with guests. The room is spacious, features a great bathroom, and is equipped with everything needed for an excellent stay. The breakfast offers an impressive variety of items, catering to tastes ranging from Western to Asian cuisine. The hotel is within walking distance of the riverside promenade, the hub of tourist activity. I have no doubt that I will stay at the Sunway Hotel again on my next visit to Phnom Penh. Great location closer to a mall and parks. Beautiful surroundings. Decent hotel, comfortable rooms, and good service. The restaurant food was tasty, but menu was quite limited (if you're a long stay client), and I also struggled a lot with parts of the room not cooling, therefore I had terrible sleep 😐They did check it all the time I informed, and once offered another room. They have meeting facilities, and the coffee break snacks are good, and staff are very helpful. Breakfast is adequate.

I find Sunway Hotel very central to almost every tourist attraction. More importantly the restaurant served HALAL food. So international breakfast buffet and a la carte menu are alls good! Most of the staff can speak English. Housekeeping comes in every day to clean the room and top up refreshments. In-room dining served delicious Mushroom soup and Tom Yam Koong! Cambodia generally have limited Halal restaurants serving local pho or khmer dishes. But there are these 3 Halal restaurants that we always go to for padang food and malaysian food (Dulang, Nusantara, Cafe Malaya). Near the Riverside location (facing the infamous Mekong River), you can find endless halal restaurants serving kebabs, beriyani, roti prata, and everything Mediterranean and Pakistani. USD$ and Cambodian Riel are both acceptable. Grab transportation for car and tuk tuk are very easy to book and they come right up to the hotel's entrance. And they are reasonably priced ranging from KHR5,400 to 14,200.

I Stayed for 5 nights for a work trip. The welcome reception was very friendly and made a great first impression. The room amenities were adequate and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of options. I would especially like to give a shout out to the cafe staff, Ms Sophing and Mr Vathana.The warm hospitality made me feel truly at home, even while away from home .

We had a fantastic stay here. From the moment We checked in, the service was really nice. The room was exceptionally clean and well. We especially loved and enjoyed Our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the City, yet that was quiet enough for a great night’s sleep. A huge thank you to all staff for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back.

Stunning beautiful classic property reflecting culture and history of Cambodia. Located close to Wat Phnom, an important landmark of the capital. Staff are friendly and helpful providing great support during mine and my group’s stay here. Nice breakfast with beautiful selection of food. I got a beautiful room with nice view. The receptionists, the bell service staff performed their duty very well. The only low point I would suggest is the lighting system. It’s a little complicated – how to turn on and off the lights in the room might be difficult to those who is less technical knowledge. No charing pug close to the bed. Extension cord probably needed. Overall, I had a great stay anyway 💕

Very good choice for visitirs to this city which is changing everyday with glitz and glamour! Very helpful staff and incredibly friendly! Malaysian ownership means no pork at breakfast timeswhich is good for jewish visitors. A very nice buffet at breakfast and very asian! First and foremost every one of the staff is super friendly!!
