Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room felt damp, had a musty smell, and it was rather dirty. We had to ask for a clean blanket as ours was stained. Kitchen ware was not clean either even hair in cutlery draw. Bathroom was extremely dated and dirty. The service was okay—staff were polite but nothing stood out. On the positive side, the location was great, with an easy walk into town, and the pool was clean and enjoyable. However, the condition of the room let the overall experience down. With better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this could be a much better place to stay.

This was my second time to stay in these apartments. I stayed for 12 nights. Had my sheets and towels changed only once in that period. I stayed in apartment 21B. Apartment is very dated and needs a refurbishment. Pool is in shaded area and never gets sun. However the main attraction for these apartments is their location. It is superb. 10 mins walk from strip and stunning Four Mile beach. Reasonably priced also.

Lovely, peaceful grounds with much greenery everywhere. Clean tidy rooms with everything we need. Awesome pool that the kids loved in and a warm spa for a little relaxation after the pool. Easy check in. Great location - away from the crowds but walking distance to the beach and shops! Highly recommend Bay Villas!

Great size rooms Lovely balcony with pool view. Our stay was made perfect with the lovely team at Bay Vista who attended to our stay Being our first time in Port Douglas they gave us information on what to do, where to eat and lovely walk trails. We will definitely re book on our next stay

Great stay for a great price - fab location, lots of parking, really spacious room (we had a studio apartment) and everything we needed for a comfortable stay

The apartment was shabby and outdated. It felt damp in the apartment for the duration of our stay. The pictures on the website are not a true reflection of the accommodation, it looks more vibrant and clean online. All beds were too hard which impacted sleep quality. There was a garage attached to our apartment as part of the stay, which had a random car in it for the duration of our stay so we couldn’t use it, the garage door led into our apartment so it was slightly unnerving. We were then told it wasn’t an assigned space for our apartment despite the fact upon check in we were told it was our garage, with the number of the apartment above the garage door and the door to the garage leading directly into our apartment. Unsatisfactory stay with parking confusion. The location is very convenient for the main town and beach though.

The photos of the hotel look absolutely breathtaking online, super pretty and clean looking but when checking in that was FAR from the case. The refrigerator and microwave in my room were covered in rust and filth. Every chair around the dining table was covered in stains and there was bits of trash found around the room. Three out of four of the pillows provided on my bed had stains on them and there was a ton of grime in the bathroom. The cooking supplies and utensils were far from clean, there was a salad bowl that had what I can only assume is mold in it sitting in one of the cabinets. I felt very unclean staying at this hotel.

A bit too far from the city centre for dinner after a day outside Rooms are small and the kitchen facilities are poor. Service changed the towels and sheets but do not restock toilet paper or take the garbage.
