I understand this accommodation is a hostel/private room facility. I don't begrudge the backpackers being 'happy'. But my only negative is that if you don't want to enjoy a quiet sleeping environment, don't book here. I found the late night-early morning screaming, music constant loudness a bit much and not at all respectful of others who are in need of affordable accommodation. Management could do better to reinforce the appropriate times to lower noise. Especially if your room is adjacent to the kitchen. Room was clean and comfortable. And there is no room parking for all the rooms.

Kylie and team have done a fab job! Service is friendly, food delicious and beer is the price it SHOULD be, not mentioning other local establishments. Live music and a pool to keep the kids entertained. If there was one tiny complaint, it would be the wait to receive your meal. Will defs return!!

Decent location if you are ok with walking into town (or use the shuttle which is cheap). The private rooms were big enough and came with soap/condition/shampoo which was nice. Vibes a bit weird, but it seems people stay there long term. Now, the worst part was the front desk hours of operation from 9-5. What kind of hostel only has people staffed for this short of time?

Great location 5 mins walk to centre. Well priced. Nice and clean room. Great communal area and 2 kitchens. |The owners are super friendly and helpful. |Parking on site is an added bonus.|Recommend for solo travellers, couples or small groups.

New comfy beds & pillows, we were looking forward to a cosy nights sleep. Room 18 is near the kitchen , we were kept awake till after midnight with people using the shared kitchen facilities. No response from Thomas after we’d made him aware that evening or the next day.It impacted our next day in Port Douglas as we were both very tired. The receptionist was very helpful when we arrived & noted my points before we left.

Great place in the heart of Port Douglas! The rooms are clean and kitchens really well equipped. Beach and shops are walking distance. Our kids loved the pool and all the games.

What a little gem! As we booked late for NYE in Port Douglas , my expectations were not high but this place was fantastic! Walking distance to the Marina and a little further to town centre with undercover parking, pool, cafe and a myriad of activities. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant spot , super clean both the rooms and the kitchen area, not to loud or party orientated but also quite social definitely a solid spot for both backpackers and long term backpackers for 88 days.
