Unsatisfactory, checked in. Someone had there things in our room. Had to call After hours to then get provided another room. Was compensated with a coffee and pastry each day for the stuff up, and a complimentary night which we never received. Never had the room service or cleaned in the 6 night stay, not even a bin change or fresh towels. Pretty pathetic for the amount we paid to be honest. Location great but because of all the above we won't be back

We really enjoyed our stay at Mantra In The Village, Port Douglas. The location is excellent—right in the heart of town and only a short walk to Coles, which made self-catering very convenient. The room's kitchenette and large fridge were perfect for preparing simple meals and storing groceries, giving us plenty of flexibility during our stay. The shared pool was another highlight. It felt surprisingly private, was very well maintained, and the water was always refreshing after a day exploring the area. The views from the room were lovely, but what we enjoyed most were the quiet mornings watching the activity below as Port Douglas came to life. It was relaxing to sit back and take in all the comings and goings in the town centre while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. A great option for anyone looking for a comfortable, self-contained stay in a fantastic Port Douglas location.

We stayed in Unit 100 on the ground floor at the back of the property overlooking the pool. It was a well appointed spacious one bedroom, easy access from the laneway (no stairs). There is a set of stairs down to the free carpark under the building that is very close to the apartment, or you are able to walk up the carpark driveway to avoid stairs. The apartment is very quiet, there is air conditioner noise on the deck and in the pool area but to be expected when you’re located in the centre of town. The reception is in the laneway next to the jewellers, a black phone is on the wall if reception is unattended for checking in. There are many lovely restaurants close by, walking distance to all the shops, markets, 4 Mile Beach and Flagstaff Hill walkway. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was lovely with an awesome balcony overlooking the Main Street and the park. There was no reception to check in so it was hard to ask questions. The noise in the evening was soooo loud from the hotel next door that I had to buy ear plugs so I could sleep. There were bands playing every night it was even hard to hear the tv. If you like loud music then it would be a great spot, if not don’t book at this resort.

This place would have been a beautiful place to stay back in the day, but it hasn't aged well and maintenance is sadly lacking. The 'service' was dismal and I never saw a staff member the whole time we were there. Check in was done over a phone out on a public walk-way then keys retrieved from a lock-box on the same walk-way. Check out done the same way. Really, the only thing going for it was the location. For the money, you're better of staying somewhere else. We won't be staying again.

This hotel is well located on the ocean end of popular Macrossan Street and while the hotel is tired, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There the good feedback ends. There is no-one in reception at any time, when you arrive you read a sign telling you to pick up the phone and call, where someone tells you how to get the key. There are many stairs, to get to your room you may have to go up stairs and then down half a flight to get to your level, then at the other end of the floor you may have to go down stairs again to get to your room. There is no lift, just a clunky goods lift you can put your luggage in and send it up/down, then take the stairs to meet it Not a great experience unless you are expecting the AirBNB experience, which we weren't The Accor Membership welcome drinks, they were two small bottles of soft drink, I assumed the previous guests had left them in the fridge This hotel should not be in the Accor group

The room was in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. I found the bed too firm and struggled to sleep. The tv was old and didn't offer any streaming service (not a huge deal). Woke up to a tree lopper at 7am on Easter Saturday. Great room overall, just a few things that brought it down a few points.

We stayed one night only and the value for the money was very good. The room was very big with a very nice view. It’s very good located in the heard of Port Douglas. It is not a modern oder luxurious hotel but you can have a good time there.
