We stayed in a two bedroom lap pool apartment and it was amazing! Overlooked the Mirage Golf Course and the only neighbours we had was the local wildlife. Apartment was bright and clean, and true to the photos on their website. Parking was also available. Very quiet and private. Can highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We stayed in one of the 3 br units with the plunge pool. Overall it was nice, I think the whole complex is relatively new so it feels a little “incomplete”. There are still pallets of tiles and glass pool fencing all over the underground garage. The reception staff are great, we had an issue with a light hanging in the plunge pool and they had it fixed within the hour. The units were very clean and well appointed (we stayed in unit 8), however they lack some plants and “colour”. By far the biggest issue is the bathrooms though. Both are very nice but neither has anywhere to store your bathroom items! We had to put all our stuff on the floor or balanced on the end of the sink. Please get some more storage in there! Also the main bathroom subscribes to the modern “open plan” bathroom where the person lying on the bed can see and hear the person in the shower or on the toilet, something my wife didn’t appreciate after our Mexican dinner.

We had a fantastic stay at Pool Resort Port Douglas and would absolutely return. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They were also incredibly knowledgeable about local activities, cruises, and things to do in the area, which made planning our stay so much easier. The main pool area was beautiful, well-maintained, and a great place to relax. We stayed in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was spacious, clean, and perfect for a comfortable getaway. Having direct pool access was a real highlight. It was great to see maintenance staff actively working around the resort, ensuring everything stayed in top condition. Room service was reliable, and basic necessities were conveniently available at reception, which was very handy. The atmosphere throughout the resort was peaceful, with respectful guests adding to the overall relaxing vibe. Being slightly away from the hustle and bustle made it feel like a true escape, while still only being a short drive to the main road and local attractions. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed stay in Port Douglas—and we will definitely be back!

Had the most amazing time here. Stayed 7 nights in the 3 Bedroom with Plunge Pool and can not speak highly enough of our time. The Apartment was spacious for our party of 5, clean, well equipped and we loved utilising the massive pool area after day activities and the plunge to relax later on. Heather was a delight and a fountain of knowledge. Responding to all requests as host and local. Book your time here now!

Luxurious, funky and modern apartment, beautiful artwork and furnishings. Loved the pool only metres from our back door! Great view of the mountains as well

We are regular visitors to Port Douglas and when we travel with friends we generally book a holiday home. On this occasion we booked Pool Port Douglas as they had competitive rates and we were keen on a Pool swim out room. Pros: Pool is awesome, location, undercover parking, good kitchen and friendly reception staff. Cons: Uncomfy beds, very little space for storage in bedrooms and tiny dining table.

Wow wow wow!! We loved the room and the pool so much, we could have moved there. Thank you to Bridgid and the team for being so great with us during the Air Canada strike. I really recommend this beautiful and peaceful little paradise!
