We are truly sorry to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations and regret that your overall impression of our hotel was not a positive one. Regarding the refrigerator, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the minibar in your room was unavailable due to a technical fault during your stay. However, had this been brought to the attention of our Reception team, we would have been more than happy to store any items requiring refrigeration in the bar refrigerators until the issue was resolved. With regard to the blackout blind, we sincerely apologise for its condition. Your comments have been forwarded to our Maintenance Department so that the issue can be addressed promptly. Concerning the room layout, the shower integrated into the bedroom is part of the design concept of our Standard Rooms. For guests who prefer a more traditional bathroom configuration, we also offer Family Rooms, where the bathroom, including the shower, is located in a separate enclosed area. We also regret your comments regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. This certainly does not reflect the standards we strive to maintain, and your observations have been shared with both our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams for review and corrective action. Regarding the absence of tea and coffee-making facilities, we would like to clarify that the room category you selected was one of our Ground Floor Rooms. As indicated in the room description, this category, in addition to being located on the ground floor, is not equipped with a coffee machine or kettle. These amenities are available in our Standard Rooms and other room categories. We regret any misunderstanding this may have caused. We are equally sorry that the noise from the metro affected your rest. Our location, immediately next to Casa da Música metro station, is one of the features most appreciated by guests due to its excellent connectivity to the city centre and the airport. Nevertheless, we fully understand that guests who are particularly sensitive to noise may find this aspect less suitable. We continue to explore solutions to minimise the impact of external noise wherever possible. We also regret your comments regarding the noise at Reception late in the evening. This is not the level of consideration or professionalism we expect from our team, and your feedback has been shared internally to reinforce the importance of maintaining a quiet environment during the night. Finally, while we regret that our hotel did not meet your personal expectations, we would like to clarify that the characteristics of each room category, including the available amenities, are described on the booking platforms to help guests select the accommodation that best suits their needs. Regarding the room size, we appreciate your understanding. Our rooms are designed to provide a modern and functional environment while ensuring comfort during the stay. Concerning the bed setup, we would like to clarify that some of our double beds are prepared by joining two single mattresses with an additional topper to enhance comfort. We would, however, like to clarify that the bottles of water provided by the hotel are replenished daily as part of our housekeeping service. Should a guest require additional bottles of water beyond the daily provision, these can be purchased at our bar and are therefore subject to an additional charge. Regarding the telephone interaction mentioned in your review, we have internally followed up on the situation with the staff member involved. The information gathered during this follow-up provided additional context regarding the interaction.
