PortoBay Flores is an outstanding hotel in the heart of Porto. The location is exceptional—just two or three blocks from virtually all of the city’s major attractions, making it easy to explore on foot. The rooms are comfortable, and well-appointed, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, and accommodating. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend PortoBay Flores to anyone planning a visit to Porto. It’s an excellent choice, with a perfect combination of comfort, service, and an unbeatable location. Wonderful hotel designed from a former palace. Stonework, decor and vibe was amazing. Palace Suite was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean with luxury product. Staff were amazing throughout whole hotel. Breakfast was exceptional and all food and drinks taken in hotel were great. Highly recommend.Also, it is centrally located in quiet pedestrianised road 15 mins walk from almost any direction in city.

This is a lovely property which has been renovated with care to preserve many of the original features of the grand house it once was. The accomodations are in a newly built wing which sits across a courtyard.|The location is fantastic, in a predestrianised street a short walk from Sao Bento station. Although the area is busy with lots of hustle and bustle and street entertainers, inside the hotel it is calm and tranquil.|The staff we interacted with were, without exception, friendly and engaged - obviously very proud of the place!|The rooms are modern and bedding is comfortable but our Superior room on the 4th floor was very compact. There was no room to store an iron/ ironing board and, if needed, these needed to be requested from reception. As with many European rooms, the toilet and shower were seperate.|We enjoyed the superb breakfast buffet whuch was advertised as a continental breakfast but, in reality, offers an extensive hot and cold menu. Some items can be made to order as well.|The gym and spa are also very compact but were not heavily used so we always found space.|Overall, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the good vibes this property gives off. The location was perfect for exploring the main tourist sites.|Thank-you PortoBay Flores !

Our stay at PortoBay Flores was lovely. The hotel is centrally located on a pedestrian only street. The staff was warm and helpful. The room was well designed and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure and both the room and bathroom were very clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

It was quite difficult to find a hotel with a really good view in this area, but in the end I’m very glad we chose this one. We stayed for three nights in a Junior Suite on the 8th floor. The bedroom is located upstairs, separate from the main living area, which made it very quiet and comfortable for sleeping. The highlight for us was definitely the view. The large windows extend all the way up to the high ceiling and offer a beautiful view of the cathedral, with a partial view of the river as well. It was wonderful to enjoy the scenery from the room throughout the day, and I was very happy with our choice of room. The staff were also consistently friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable three nights, with a great combination of location, views, and room quality. I would happily stay here again if I return to Porto. Muito obrigado por uma estadia maravilhosa!

The room itself offered a wonderful blend of comfort, style, and peace.|The dining experience was outstanding, with top-notch food across the board. What truly set PortoBay Flores apart, though, was the faultless service. The team went above and beyond at every turn, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.|It is rare to find a hotel where the accommodations, cuisine, and atmosphere align so effortlessly, but the staff here truly elevated the entire experience. Stayed here in December with my wife and a review is long overdue. PortoBay Flores in winter is sweetly priced, the rare place that makes you feel like you struck a bargain in hotels these days. Rooms are chic, service strong, the hotel itself quaint and oh so pretty, and the location is to die for - I expected Porto to be pretty some, but I did not expect a place so picture-perfect it immediately felt like we had landed in possibly the prettiest town its size on the planet. The hotel complements the setting, which is really all it needs to do. Do yourself the favor and visit in off-season, and go for a walk at 6am to experience Porto at its most magical, then settle down in the stylish breakfast restaurant with some nata and a cup of tea - and try to find something that's not to love about the experience. Also: Easily in the top 3 European hotels I've stayed at.

Where can I eat near PortoBay Flores?

For meals close by, the hotel's own Restaurant and Bar serve full dishes and drinks. Just steps away, À Parte and Wines of Portugal Tasting Room are both 50 m, and Bistrô Flores and Nut sit 100 m out. For a quick bite, STARBUCKS is 150 m away, and Rio da Vila is 200 m from the door. All these are within a few minutes' walk on Rua das Flores and the streets around the historic centre.
