Fantastic hotel. Superb views across the river to the bridges. The room was very well presented with a lovely comfortable king size bed and great views. Breakfasts had great choice and a live station with a chef. The pastries were fantastic. Dick’s bar is great and the espresso martinis were mixed to perfection. We used the laundry service which was incredibly quick. The spa was well worth trying out. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is chic and classy. The only issue I had is allowing brash kids to use speaker phones and tablets at breakfast. The world-over why are hotels (and families) allowing this type of boorish behaviour. I would highly recommend this superb hotel and we will definitely return.

Had a spectacular stay here on our trip to Porto. The Artist Suite was absolutely huge and unique and the views were spectacular. Bed was super comfortable. Buffet breakfast was as good as it gets. Room service was prompt and served perfectly and all the food at the hotel was amazing, especially their Michelin starred restaurant. Spa was nice but definitely not a "must do". Probably the only hotel I've been to where they don't give you water at turn down. Aside from that, definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

Our stay at The Yeatman was absolutely glorious. The location was across the river from the main downtown section. Therefore, it was very tranquil, highlight was the phenomenal view. Our room was spacious, super comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a palate of cheerful yellows . Make sure you get a room with a beautiful balcony overlooking the water. The hotel staff was wonderful overall, and we used the incredibly helpful concierge team quite a bit throughout our trip. The absolute highlight of our entire experience was the wine masterclass with Miguel, which is a must-do. We were SO impressed by him and the level of care he showed in learning our wine preferences and guiding us through the experience. We will send our friends! We also dined at the two-Michelin-star restaurant; while the food was good, the dining room lacks charm and the service felt a bit too stiff. We had a nice, casual meal at the main lobby restaurant after our wine tasting, though the service there still needs some work. The breakfast room runs perfectly smooth. The pool is small but nice to have. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Yeatman for 3 nights for my husbands birthday. I booked a superior deluxe between floors 4-7 which was a really lovely spacious room with a big balcony overlooking the duoro river. |The hotel is really lovely, lots of nice restaurants and a bar onsite. We didn’t use the outdoor pool as it was raining for much of our stay but we did use the indoor pool area and spa which was lovely. The only thing I would say is the pools and Roman bath were a bit cold. |The hotel is in a great location, Taylor’s is literally outside the front entrance and definitely worth a visit and world of wine and the riverside are walkable. We walked from the hotel to the ribiera once which was fairly easy for us, about 20-30 minutes but Ubers were plentiful and cheap so no issue there. Porto is a lovely city to wander around with lots to see and do. |The only down side we had in the hotel was the people using their phones and tablets, or allowing their children to, on loudspeaker which ruined the ambience- this happened a couple of times and I think the hotel should have a policy on this if they don’t already. |All in all it was a great trip and I would stay at the Yeatman again happily.

Absolutely outstanding hotel that made our trip to Porto truly special. Everything was perfect — the room, the food, the service, the atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtful and luxurious. We would especially like to thank the management team for their exceptional kindness and hospitality. Unfortunately, we missed our flight to Porto and arrived one day later than planned. Instead of charging us for the no-show night, the hotel generously allowed us to stay one extra night as a gift. This was incredibly appreciated and really touched us. We also had dinner at the gastronomic restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. During our stay we celebrated my husband’s 50th anniversary, and the hotel made it so special — with wonderful attention, a beautiful cake, sparkling wine, and truly warm hospitality. The level of care and professionalism here is exceptional. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

The Yeatman Hotel was absolutely stunning. The staff were super nice and friendly, the rooms were clean and large, the food was amazing, and the view was beautiful. You could basically see all of Porto, and it’s only a 10-20 minute walk from the downtown. I definitely recommend staying here!

We can’t rave enough about the Yeatman. Our favorite hotel in Portugal and one we are already pining to return. From the moment you walk into the grand lobby and see the view looking over the Douro and Porto, you will be in awe of this place. They really do justice to the Relais & Chateaux brand. |We were greeted with a glass of port and given a tour. The room was spacious and beautiful. All the amenities you could imagine and high quality products. But best of all is the view from the room. See pictures attached! Amazing. My only negative comment is that the TV is quite small but other than bits of the World Cup, we didn’t even use it.|We spent a good amount of time at the infinity pool. The chairs were plentiful. No poolside service, but the pool bar is steps away. |The fitness room was great for my wife. Lots of space. But lacking in machines and enough heavy weights. I didn’t use it myself.|We had drinks at Dick’s Bar which overlooks Porto. Not cheap but good value for the experience. We ate dinner one night at Orangerie. I would say it was okay. There are so many great restaurants in Porto (15 minutes walk away) that you might be better served going there. I will complain about them serving us a bread course that we didn’t ask for at 7.5 Euros a person (my wife only had one olive for that 7.5 E). For this quality of restaurant and hotel, I don’t think they should charge for bread. This left a bad taste in our mouths.|Overall, you would be a fool not to stay here if you came to Porto. Don’t be swayed by the fact that it is across the river in Gaia. It is an easy and pleasant walk. Gaia seems much better than the cramped sidewalks of Porto. Yeatman: we will be back. Obrigado.
