Dreams Onyx is definitely a place we would consider returning to. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.|This was our first time booking the Preferred Club, and honestly, it’s something we would probably choose again in the future. We had a butler, Raphael, who took great care of us. He handled our restaurant reservations, checked in to make sure we were happy at the pool and beach, and sent daily updates through WhatsApp, which was really helpful. We had access to their sister resort which was nice just to provide a few other options for dinner and drinks, (totally walkable from our resort). Our room was nice overall, although it did have a bit of a musty smell when we arrived. Raphael worked with the cleaning staff to get it addressed, which we really appreciated. The jacuzzi tub on the balcony was amazing. The food was another highlight. The buffet had a huge variety of options, and the à la carte restaurants were amazing for dinner. Being in the Preferred Club also gave us access to a pool concierge in the adults-only section. They made sure our spot was saved for us each day, which was such a nice perk—we never had to worry about where we would sit. The beach was beautiful as well. There were quite a few vendors walking up and down the beach, but if you’re not interested, they leave you alone and don’t bother you. The nighttime entertainment was fun, and the on-site café was a 100% bonus! Drinks were good too, we tried out their drink of the day each day, seriously try the Mango-Tango! Overall, we had a great experience at Dreams Onyx and are definitely looking forward to returning.

Fabulous Experience at Dreams Onyx Punta Cana! My family and I had a wonderful experience at Dreams Onyx Punta Cana. From the service to the staff’s hospitality, everything was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of throughout our vacation. I would especially like to recognize Anthony, the bartender at the Preferred Pool Bar. His service was exceptional! He was always attentive, friendly, helpful, and polite. He makes amazing cocktails and goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and enjoy their experience. His positive attitude and professionalism truly make a difference. Employees like Anthony are what turn a great vacation into an unforgettable memory. Thank you so much for providing such outstanding service! I highly recommend this resort, and we look forward to returning with our family in the future.

Visited for a week with my baby and husband and our experience was WOW! The food was excellent and very clean (my 22 month old ate without issues), the rooms are spacious and my baby had enough space to run around and play. The resort activities are entertaining and the staff are really warm and friendly. There are many mosquitoes 🦟. So come along with a bug spray! We made many beautiful memories and I'll definitely visit again

Amazing time at dreams onyx for a family wedding. The resort was extremely clean, easy to navigate, and had just about everything you needed a walk away. Our bartender Anthony went above and beyond. His friendliness towards my family and comforting my 20 month old son into the pool was just the touch we needed. From the very beginning Anthony was attentive, knew his job well, and by far best customer service I have experienced. Highly recommend the preferred club suites and the Steak Restaurant. Kid friendly, but they do have areas for adults only.

My boyfriend and I had such a fantastic time at Dreams! We stayed at Dreams Dominicus La Romana last September, so we were really happy to see how consistent the quality was between the two Dreams resorts. The food was amazing, the facilities were great, and everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. We highly recommend spending the little bit of extra money on a Preferred Guest stay because it really adds so much to the experience. We were able to access an entire additional resort, including their pools and restaurants, which gave us even more options throughout our stay. We also loved that each area of the property had its own vibe, so there was always an option depending on what kind of experience we were looking for that day. What made our stay especially enjoyable was having our personal concierge, Starling! We genuinely felt so well taken care of throughout our entire stay. From recommending food and restaurants to helping us plan our transportation back to the airport, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was stress-free and enjoyable. We especially appreciated that he took the time to check in with us in person every day. You can really tell that he’s passionate about his job and genuinely cares about making sure his guests have a great experience. Thank you so much, Starling, for making our trip even more memorable!

Just, Wow! This was our second time staying at a Dreams Resort, and it was such an enjoyable stay! We booked the private pool room, which came with the “preferred package”, which allowed us to have access to the preferred pool, a personal butler, and the preferred beach areas and restaurants. We didn’t think being “preferred” would make a difference, but it did! If you want to truly relax, the preferred club package is worth the extra expense- servers at the pool check on you for drink refills all the time, you’re well taken care of as soon as you arrive from the airport, your personal butler will txt you and find you throughout the day to see if you have any needs and to see if there’s anything he can do to make your life easier and your stay more enjoyable. He will make any and all reservations for you at the restaurants, taxis, activities, get a hold of housekeeping, or really anything you desire to get done. It was a privilege to have Juan David as our butler- he did such a phenomenal job, we would come back to the resort only for him! His smile was genuine and he was kind and respectful our entire stay. The only negative thing about our stay was that the food was good, but it wasn’t great. We actually enjoyed the food quality at the buffet more than at the à la carte restaurants. Overall, this resort is a great deal/value for the level of luxury it offers. We would return without hesitation and met several people who come back yearly.

We had an incredible stay and absolutely loved our experience in the Preferred Club. The resort itself was beautiful, but what really made our trip special was the staff and the level of service we received. Anthony, our dedicated bartender at the family pool, was absolutely amazing. He took the time to get to know our family and made every interaction feel personal. His service was first class from beginning to end, and he was always friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of everyone. On top of that, he makes some amazing drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic! Our entire family looked forward to seeing him each day, and he was easily one of the highlights of our stay. Albert, our Preferred Club concierge, was equally outstanding. His attention to detail and level of service were incredible. More than anything, he is just an exceptionally kind and genuine person. He was always available to help, made sure everything was taken care of, and went out of his way to make our vacation as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The Preferred Club experience was absolutely worth it, but Anthony and Albert are what truly made this trip memorable for our family. Employees like them are what separate a good resort experience from an exceptional one. We sincerely hope management recognizes both of them for the incredible service they provide. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The waterslides were so much fun, and we also really enjoyed the lazy river. Labor Day was the perfect time to visit because the resort wasn’t too crowded. We stayed for 3 full days, 2 days enjoying the resort and another day visiting the Sacred River on a tour booked through the hotel’s excursion company. In the evenings, we enjoyed a fire show, neon party, and beach white party, which made the nights just as fun as the days. I definitely recommend booking the Preferred level. You get access to the private beach and private restaurants, and the Preferred check-in was great because we didn’t have to wait in line. You also get a personal concierge assigned to you who you can message throughout your stay if you have any questions or issues. One of my favorite things was the cart that came around to check if we needed anything for the room fridge. It was such a nice touch! We also loved having a swim-up room, which made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this resort!
