Our 9th anniversary was supposed to be a relaxing stress-free 5 days. We made the best of what we were given. The food was so so, the landscaping was top tier, housekeeping and the bellhop were helpful and did their jobs very well. Bar tenders and coffee baristas were also pretty good. Too much $$$ was spent to have a so so vacation.

Would not go here with a large group or for a wedding. Not organized for a large group. Rooms weren't even all ready and we arrived after 3pm. Wedding seems like every little thing is extra us dollars at exuberant prices. Couldn't have a meal together with the group,instead they booked 10 spots at four different restaurants. We wanted to be in one area but all the rooms were spread across the resort, even though we booked a year in advance. Also the pictures online are not reflective of the rooms unless your room has been updated. That being said the updated rooms are very nice inside. Power outages (several), room changes due to issues which take away from your vacation time, leaks in some of the rooms, overwhelming musty room scent in original room I had. Unable to get a blanket or an extra pillow for the pull out couch, asked and was told No. Door to the room wasn't working properly. I called and reported to front desk it wasn't fixed. Some of the male staff were making inappropriate sexual remarks to the women, this was reported on incident report, and to wedding coordinator. When completing incident reports the manager does not get back to you. The layout of the resort was good but the beach was very small and rocky. I would not classify as a 5 star, maybe 3.5. There were some phenomenal staff that work there and also some very rude staff. The Poseidon buffet restaurant had amazing staff members that made you feel welcome. Also the Indian restaurant had amazing food and wonderful staff. Had many issues where vacation time was lost dealing with them.

Got to start by saying that the property is amazing, the drinks were great, and the food delicious with so many options. The staff is absolutely amazingly phenomenal, especially William at the pool bar, Cesar my concierge, and Robinson. The only negative and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, our room was not entirely cool for us, in some care 79 degrees.

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort for ten days. Our room was the loft room and it was very comfortable. We were in building seventy two, and it was very central to the pool and restaurants. I was thankful for the room placement as the resort is very large. We felt like family when we arrived. We quickly made friends at the kids club and the bars and restaurants. My kids (10 & 8) were treated like celebrities and that made them feel very special. Raldy and Adrian really connected with us, and made our stay that much better!! We did parasailing and enjoyed that very much. The nightly entertainment was very good, geared towards adults however. Staying at the punta cana, we had a choice of three pools, which we loved. You do have to get out there early to get a seat. There was entertainment most afternoons as well. The cabernet entertainers would come out and put on a click show. I loved eating out on the beach at la uva. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and plenty of seating. The kids enjoyed the kid's club.There was video games which the kids loved. A few downsides... it was a little hard to find things that we liked to eat, admittedly we are a tad picky. But generally could find something. The vendors were very pushy, which i didnt enjoy. The air conditioning was not chilly enough for us unfortunately. There are definitely a lot of bugs, so bring bug spray. Just stayed for a week, it was my second time in the domican republic and first time at the grand palladium. I usually go to Mexico for the beach. I have to say i was impressed, very friendly staff, the room were clean. I had an issue with the ac I called the reception and had someone coming in 15mn. The food was excellent, not what you usually expect from an all inclusive. Will definitely come back Big sout out to Margarotta Anna and Tuti

This is NOT 5 star. Our room was dirty. Hair. Hair on the linens. Hair on the toilet. Hair all over the floor. We told the front desk and they send us to a different room. Room was completely uncleaned. Lines balled up. Towels all over the bed. Drinks and cups on the dresser. We went back to the front desk and they supposedly upgraded us. Someone was supposed to meet us at our original room to gather our things. We waited and waited. Talked to employees who walked by and still no help. We went back to the front desk. It’s literally been a few hours now. I would never recommend this place. Awful first day experience . We were very patient and initially understanding . We haven’t been able to eat dinner because we can’t change our clothes. They do not have to worry about me coming back here. Literally the dumps.

We recently stayed at this resort and overall had a mixed experience, with some great highlights but also several areas that could really use improvement. On the positive side, the location is beautiful—right by the beach—and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food overall was good, with a decent variety. We also attended the Chic Cabaret show, which was very entertaining and well done. However, the food served during the show could definitely be improved, as it didn’t match the quality of the performance. One area that needs improvement is the consistency of service. It often felt dependent on tipping, which can be frustrating given how much guests already pay to stay at the resort. To be fair, I did tip whenever I had cash on me, and we tipped our waiters at the restaurant every night—but you don’t always carry cash at all times while on vacation. Improving consistency in service regardless of tipping would make a big difference. For example, restaurant seating and attention at the beach and bars seemed uneven, with some guests receiving more frequent service than others. The bathroom design could also be improved. The shower setup caused water to spill onto the floor easily, creating a slippery and potentially unsafe situation. A better design or additional barriers would help prevent this. Pricing across the resort is another area that could be reconsidered. Many services—such as excursions, spa treatments, and extras—are extremely expensive and don’t always feel aligned with the overall value. Making pricing more reasonable would improve the overall guest experience. The presence of vendors throughout the beach and resort could be better managed. While it’s understandable, reducing the frequency of interruptions would create a more relaxing environment for guests. Lastly, for a resort of this size, increasing the number of sunbeds by the pool and beach would be helpful. Currently, guests reserve them very early in the morning, making it difficult for others to find a place later in the day. Overall, the resort has a lot of potential with its beautiful setting and strong entertainment, but improving service consistency, amenities, pricing, and overall guest experience would make it truly worth the price.

Rooms are good. Nice location. please stay away from premium membership upgrade team. They are very pushy. Felt like hostage for 3 hours. That was torture. Other than that good experience. Nice food.
