Happy boy and Mickey thank you papi! At Ocean Blue and Sands, the buffet was absolutely incredible one of the best highlights of our week but what was the true highlights were our servers and our manager Rafael and I gotta say they made it very comfortable for us and they always accommodate us 110%. Thank you so much for making our vacation a memorable one. I want to now make a very hard appreciation to the the one most important concierge and the best one on property hands down. HAPPY BOY & Micky. They made my group feel like family and so very important. Because of them WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK! And believe me when I say they made it happen! Love you guys for all you did. Thank you!

Very nice resort, I would return to this hotel. I do not think it should be rated 5 stars, maybe 4.5. Here are the pros and cons:|Pros: |-Rooms are absolutely amazing, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in any hotel (including Canada and the US)|-Our maid was amazing, we tipped her 5 dollars everyday and if we asked for extra Coca Cola, she would give it to us.|-Food was awesome in the buffet. There is so much food. Something for everyone. We also went to the steakhouse and Route 66 but honestly the food in the buffet was the best.|-Pools are very nice, there was always chairs available but it is the off season. |-Check in was fast but we were only two couples checking in at the same time.|-Trolley service is great since it is a big place|Cons:|-I found the in pool bar service to be “meh”. They seem to be tip motivated. We waited at the busy pool bar for 10 minutes and still didnt get served so we went to the other pool. They run out of bananas so they cant always make all the drinks, which sucks. I wouldnt want to be waiting at the bar during busy season! |-Same thing for the buffet service. Sometimes we would be done our meal and still waiting on our soda or juice to be brought to the table. Also they only have half the buffet open so they make you sit at a dirty table and you need to wait for utensils. One day we just took them from a clean table. |-The stores on the resort are insanely priced. |-AVOID the timeshare pitch. They will come up to you and ask if you received your “welcome package”. They said it was just a 45 minute presentation. It was not, it was 2h15m. By the end I was really mad and annoyed.|-The beach was very busy and I dont think you could find any room during busy season so thats something to be mindful about.|Saona Island excursion was very beautiful and the food was great but the “sand fleas?” were so so bad and very itchy, I was still itching a week later. Overall, this resort is older but really charming. Maybe if the staff were a little bit nicer and not so tip motivated, it could be a 5 star. It was a nice getaway for our honeymoon.

This experience here at ocean blue and sand was amazing. Coco, Idalina were such great people to be around. They always made you feel welcomed and appreciated. They made us feel like we are at home and we had had great experiences with them. From dancing to getting us to do the challenges and talking to us like family. They are such great people to be around, we never felt unwelcome. I had the best time getting to meet coco and Idalina and I will miss dancing with them and getting up out of my comfort place and doing the dances and challenges. I will miss coco and Idalina. Ocean blue and sand was such a great time and I will be coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Ocean Blue! After spending just over a week at Ocean Blue in Punta Cana, I wanted to share with everyone what a wonderful experience we had. From the beautiful resort to the delicious food and outstanding staff, our vacation was truly special! 🏊 The Pool — Five Stars! The pool was treated with bromine, and there was absolutely no unpleasant chemical smell. The water was crystal clear, clean, and inviting. It was a pleasure spending time poolside! 🍽️ The Food — Five Stars! Absolutely delicious! We were impressed with the quality and variety of the food. There was something to enjoy, and the dining experience was excellent. 👏 The Staff — Simply Unbelievable! The staff throughout the resort were fantastic, always making us feel welcome and helping make our stay enjoyable. 🎉 A Huge Shout-Out to the Blue Entertainment Group! These wonderful people went above and beyond to make every single day of our trip special. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication made such a difference to our vacation. Thank you for creating so many great memories! ☕ Mike’s Coffee Shop — Five Stars! A fantastic place to enjoy a great coffee. Definitely worth mentioning as another highlight of our stay! 🍹 Manuel at the First Pool Bar A special mention goes to Manuel, who is one of the hardest-working employees on the entire resort. His dedication, service, and hard work deserve recognition. Employees like Manuel make guests feel appreciated and help make a resort stand out. Our Overall Experience: Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful time at Ocean Blue and are leaving with great memories. A resort is only as good as the people who work there, and the team at Ocean Blue truly made our vacation memorable. Thank you, Ocean Blue, for such a fantastic experience. We would happily recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation in Punta Cana!

I stayed at this hotel for about six days to celebrate my 21st birthday, and unfortunately, my experience was a mix of good and bad. The food was really good, but most staff members we encountered were rude and had unpleasant attitudes when serving my family and me. The exception was Francisco, who was always attentive to our table and made sure our wine glasses stayed full. 😂 Our original room was extremely hot, so we switched rooms, but the temperature only improved by about two degrees. The pools also need serious maintenance. They were extremely dirty, with what appeared to be mold growing on the tiles and algae around the pool bar. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but I believe management needs to improve customer service, air conditioning, and pool cleanliness. I expected a better experience.

We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately experienced several issues during our stay. When we were first given our room, it had a strong mold-like smell. I am allergic to mold, so I immediately contacted the hotel and requested a room change. A staff member came and sprayed the bathroom and the room, but unfortunately, the smell became even worse. I called the reception again and was told that someone would come to inspect the room and assist us with changing rooms. After waiting for more than an hour with no one coming, we went to the reception ourselves. Fortunately, I spoke with a very nice gentleman who listened to our concerns and spoke with the manager. He eventually arranged a different room for us and even upgraded our accommodation. I would like to sincerely thank him for his help. I believe his name was Luigi, although I apologize if I have spelled it incorrectly. His professionalism and willingness to help made a difficult situation much better. The housekeeping staff were also very kind, polite, and helpful, and we truly appreciated their service. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the Mexican restaurant. The staff seemed to have an attitude, and the food was bland and lacked flavor. Another concern was the pool and beach closing times. We have traveled to many countries and have never experienced being asked to leave the ocean as early as 6:00 p.m. or the swimming pool at 7:00 p.m. Many of the guests we spoke with were also unhappy about this restrictions. The staff would benefit from additional training focused on professionalism, courtesy, and attentive service. At times, the staff came across as somewhat unwelcoming, and a more polite and accommodating approach would greatly improve the guest experience. In the breakfast area, water was not provided unless guests specifically asked for it. It would be more attentive to have water readily available or offered proactively. Additionally, the ocean and beach area had a significant amount of algae. The beach should ideally be cleaned early in the morning, before guests begin using the area, rather than after 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. when people are already on the beach. Addressing this earlier would make the beach much more pleasant and enjoyable for guests.

Our family trip was made SO much more special because of the incredible staff here! ❤️ From the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to us. We were a family of 3, and they truly made us feel like we were part of their family. A huge thank you to Happy Boy, Gabriella, and Benyir for being absolutely amazing around the pool! They were so attentive, enthusiastic, friendly, and always making sure we were comfortable and having a great time. Their energy and kindness really stood out to us, and we loved seeing them every time we were by the pool! The dining staff also deserves a HUGE shoutout, especially Keidy. He was AMAZING!!! His service, kindness, attention, and personality were beyond what we expected. Honestly, Keidy deserves a whole raise! 😂 He went above and beyond and made every interaction feel so personal and welcoming. Braylin was also incredibly nice and helpful, and we truly appreciated how kind the entire dining staff was. And I cannot forget Juan, our cart driver! Juan is literally my best friend now 😂❤️ He was so great to us, and we had the best conversations every time we saw him. He was always friendly, funny, and made getting around the resort so much more enjoyable. He really made us feel welcomed and remembered. Every single one of these staff members helped create such amazing memories for our family. What stood out the most was how genuinely kind everyone was. It never felt like they were just doing their jobs — they made us feel cared for, welcomed, and like family. 🥹❤️ We will truly remember the kindness, laughter, conversations, and amazing service from this trip. Thank you to Happy Boy, Gabriella, Benyir, Keidy, Braylin, Juan, and the entire staff for making our family vacation so special. You all are AMAZING and deserve so much recognition! 🌴❤️

Duran our luggage person was very attentive and friendly kept us informed and gave is more information than our privilege service. Duran made us feel very welcomed and cared for. Amazing experience.Wilmer Garcia Flota was the personal assistant assigned to us for being privileged he deserves a 5 plus star all to himself he was amazing gave us great customer service booked all our reservation he was truly amazing!!!! The resort is nice the staff is friendly with the exception of privilege personnel desk at check in, they are the reception desk for people that book vip service and they don’t make you feel welcome at all. However everyone else in this hotel is amazing each staff on grounds and at restaurants is amazing. Food is good pools are beautiful grounds are beautiful and the beach is not so good maybe because is the season of seagrass. But overall its a great hotel. Elvin has been amazing he has taken our order at restaurants, great customer service I would definitely book again but never book privilege is not worth it the desk for this department needs more training honestly. But overall great hotel every thing else 5 stars. Honest review from someone who has visited many hotels.
